the federal government for irrigation. they maintain a vast systems of rivers and canals and reservoirs across the state but there is not enough water to give to farmers. folks say they will continue to monitor the rain and snow. federal officials say the water used by communes and while live will suffer dope cut -- deep cuts. >> police are trying to stop someone who is throwing battles on the freeway behind half a dozen attacks that put people in danger in the north bay. a witness has come forward. our reporter joins us with that story. amy? >> officials now have a description of the truck they are looking for. they want you to look for it as you are a-- out and about. a u.p.s. driver witnessed one of these water bottle throwing a2:00s last week and when he saw

has died on the tarmac and the cause is unclear. the airport spokesman said the man was driving a service vehicle on the tarmac around 5:00 a.m. and he had a medical issue or lost control of contro. he what found unconscious and the paramedics could not revive him. >> there was a fatal shooting as the eighth homicide and the man behind the claiming claims it to be self-defense with a lot of unanswered questions. katie marzullo joins us from the scene near clayton road at pine ridge way. >> police are only revealing the birthday strokes of what happened which is paced on the story that the man who fired the fatal shot is telling them. he is be questioned at the police station right new. so are several others but police will not tell us who they are or how they are involved but they have reason to believe not everyone is being totally honest. >> this were gunshots. i heard them. not that many.

i will get out of the way or move over so you can see how clean the air is, maybe more haze than yesterday but no need to worry, no "spare the air" coming our way, we have high pressure, calm conditions and warm weather. on the other side of our country, look what is going on, severe storms are starting to wind down a little bit and we still did have threats of tornadoes in the eastern part of the carolinas until 7:00 and toward washington, philadelphia, new york, and a tornado watch, also, and the same areas that are going to be seeing quite an arctic blast the next several days and the transition is angry with that severe weather. back here you can tell the high pressure is in control and the arrows are pointing different direction and that is light and variable wind and a reason why we are warming so rapidly already this morning, temperatures are two to four degrees warmer than year, and only napa and oakland at 59 and 56 and not if the low-to-mid 60's like everyone else. so this is how it looks from mount tamalpais, you can see how calm the bay waters are because of the sinking area of high

pressure. it is bringing us brighter and warmer-than-average temperatures all the way through monday and the wet pattern starting to come in better focus this weekend and we we know it will be four to nine degrees warmer-than-average with the sun then set at 5:55. we have not one, or two, but three areas of high pressure dominating the west coast and the eastern pacific and a high cloud or two could pass over but on monday you can see the inform track is being driven to the north by the throw around the high pressure and it is driven into the arctic circle where the upper midwest will not have highs from the negative range next week. that is how cold it will be. back here, we have 70's inland today, and the prosecute of us are in the mid-to-upper 60's and tonight we are look at patchy fog possible, and more than this morning, and temperatures in the upper 30's inland to low 40's
