know the man he really was. >> sheriffs officials say he hit a deputy with this baseball bat, prompting the deputy to fire. >> oakland police say they detained two people in connection with a shooting this morning near a mcdonald's on telegraph and 45th street this morning. he is expected to survive. a tip led them to two people matching the suspects' description and vehicle. officers say they're a couple in their 50s. >> oakland police now say a deadly shooting last night began as a dispute at a house party between two men who knew each other. a 24-year-old man died and his friend was wounded. the search for the gunman continues. there were 13 homicides in the city this time last year. >> new details are emerging about the arrest of one of the world's most wanted drug traffickers. federal law enforcement officials say cell phone intercepts and the arrest of a courier and top aide to guzman

looking over the east bay hills, towards oakland, santa rosa, 66. 59 in petaluma. fairfield, 72. 70, concord. livermore, 71. from the sutro cam you get a sense the fog is starting to move in. the golden gate bridge right now socked in, reduced visibility. the fog bank will continue to push into the bay overnight tonight so watch out for that for your monday morning commute. mostly sunny sky for your monday, and then the rain and wind will pick up wednesday and in particular on friday. lows tonight with the cloud cover, not as low as last night. low 40s in the north bay. season marin county, and we look for 49 for san francisco, 46, san jose. livermore, 43. here's the setup. high pressure will be with us for at least one, one and a half days. so expect more sunshine tomorrow. temperatures will cool a little bit and then get ready for rain and wind, storm number one,

storm number two in the latter part of the work week. here's a look at storm number one. will move in on wednesday, a break on thursday. just a small break, and then the second storm will move in on friday. the second storm looks stronger and more wind with that second storm. so wednesday, 5:00 p.m., that's the timing of the first rain bands to hit the bay area. by thursday morning, at 11:00, we should start to see showers move out of here. but get ready, by friday morning commute, that's when heavy rain starts to move become in across the bay area. a lot of wind with this second storm moving in on friday. and our ten-day outlook for rainfall, march 1st, 2nd, into the 3rd, 4th, 5th, you can clearly see close to five inches so definitely a wet period in the offing for the bay area. mud, rockslides, immediate
