road 580 westbound an hour and 20 minutes a bad drive with a new crash. an hour and 24 minutes and a crash at westbound direction blocking the middle lane so that will add more pain. 680 southbound from dublin to michigan boulevard, 16 minutes and from 101 to cupertino, a short five minutes so a contrast this. the metering lights were turned on this. on on the bay bridge and fast track lanes are moving okay but we have backups on the cash paying lanes and a hook from emeryville to treasure island where we have taillights moving around to treasure island and still moving at a slower space. >> we have breaking news from san jose where a fire has last one person dead overnight with fear fighters called to the seen after midnight and coming from a small treasure behind the main

house. a person was pronounced dead at the seen and now, nationwide attention, public health researchers are trying to track down the source of a serious illness affecting children in the area including five with symptoms similar to polio. katie marzullo is in the newsroom. >> >> researchers suspect it could be a virus but they don't know the cause. right now they are looking into 25 cases in california. ed five confirmed cases have last five children paralyzed. one is four-year-old from berkeley and her left arm is paralyzed. other children ages two to 16 are paralyzed in more than one limb and is described like polio starting with breathing problems and leads to paralysis.

thursday and the rain will be heavy at times. we do have a problem on the bay bridge westbound direction where we have a brand new crash at treasure island. we had an early stalled vehicle eastbound side which is cleared and we have construction lingering until 2:00 p.m. with an accident westbound causing slowing conditioned treasure -- over to treasure island. you there are a few extra cars show, headlights but the tail lies are nonexistent. >> firefighters are working to knock down another fire in san jose right now. matt keller got to the scene. matt? >> yes, this call came in at 10 or 15 minutes ago in san jose. you can see there is an intense firefight going on with films coming from this trailer.

a trailer fire next to a building was the call, and there is a concern it could spread in the industry area. obviously, there are all types of materials and flammable material such as ladders and drums that are set up next to the trailer and i was told those were filled with oil and firefighters made sure to keep the flames away from that. it could create a haz-mat situation. you can see the firefighters are in an intense battle right now at the trailer and the flames are still shooting out from the trailer, with a lot smoke coming out, as well, and they are trying to make sure this does not spread here. is with told an ambulances with sent to the scene to help one person out and they are being check out by paramedics and we will be here, follow this, as you can see, again, the flames are intense at this hour and the building is destroyed.

matt? >> i talked with a firefighter and he said they got a "stop" on the near but it is not under control. the trailer was on fire for half an hour and the call came before 6:00 and we have watched the intense firefighter as firefighters are dealing with a lost factors. there is a large warehouse so the concern is they do not want it to go into the warehouse next door. they are not saying it is under control but they made progress in this. >> also, there are several 50 gallon drums right here in front of us where we are standing and they are full of oil. that was a concern about haz-mat so firefighters made sure they got in front of that and put hoses on keeping the flames

we heard the chain saw would being and they were trying to get access to the building. they had their breathing apparatus on with a lot of materials benefit the oil with propane tanks and plastic bug -- plastic buckets causing problems for breathing with smoke coming from the trailer so firefighters are be extra careful and wearing breathing apparatus. a couple of firefighters were being hosed off because they were concerned about the payment -- paint being filmable and the firefighters could catch on fire. we saw two or three firefighters being hosed off by other firefighters. we are looking at the scene. they are putting at the love water on the trailer to make sure they have it out. it does appear the danger is over right now and the warehouse

san leandro is slow, though, leaving oakland up to this accident at davis street and blocking a lane involving a big rig so crews could be there for quite some time. >> pet owners in san francisco are on alert as they test poisonous meatballs found in another neighborhood. the meet balls were spotted on sunday in the rich mom -- richmond district after 32 meat bulls were found hidden in bushes in twin peaks where hundreds are found last year. a dog died. others remain sickened. >> fairfield police are still searching for the driver involved in a street race that left a father of three dead. it happened on sunday at the intersection at canyon hills drive. a car and truck were racing and the scar hit another vehicle. 31-year-old father was killed.
