you it's starting to come down just a little bit. it usually comes in waves we saw the chp out on stand by and talked to a lot of people who are welcoming storms but getting ready. a full day of rain was a welcome site from heelsberg, the rains came down enough for a good runoff from home. in santa rosa, it meant it's time to pull out the umbrella. the rain kept crews busy trying to restore power for as many as 1700 customers. this crew repairing a downed power line. residents say it's well worth it. >> we need 20 inches. to get to normal. yes. this will help.

done so they have filed a federal complaint for second time in two years. laura? >> saying they can't get help they need here in campus or from the state office of education, a group of survivors gathered today to say they're taking their complaints to the next level, the federal government. >> i got angry, violated and confused. >> uc berkeley student iman stetson says it happened to her in her dorm, attacked by a man who also lived there. >> my case was open in april, 2013. it's almost march, 2014. nearly a year has gone by. nothing has been done. >> she is one of six current and former students who sat so-to-say they were sexual assaulted on, and camp campus >> i felt anxious all of the time because of the judgment passed on me by others and by myself.

>> and they call claim cases were woe fully mishandle by the the system. >> our hearts go out to them. it's unimaginable this happened to them. >> uc spokesman says the new chancellor is committed to improving services for survivors of sexual assault. >> what i want to fell people is the senior administrator put resources into this and cares about it. >> in the all cases are reported to police, one of the new initiatives to dedicate an officer to survivors. >> we're going to have a one stop shop for the person to be able to go to get information they need in the event they're a survivor of sexual assault. >> these women now joined two dozen other survivors in filing a complaint against uc berkeley.

cruz police station in honor two of officers first to-to-die in the line of duty. the two were shot to death by a sexual assault suspect one year ago today. and to mark this anniversary a memorial garden was dedicated in in their name. >> this is one of the special moments in the city of santa cruz. you can feel the best of the best. and why we come together. >> officers will be wearing new badges. >> a woman fell equivalent of three stories in san francisco is expected to be okay. she fell along a rocky bluff just below cliff house restaurant. she was wearing boots providing no traction on the rocks crews pulled her to safety this

morning. and she's expected to be okay. >> video of a good samaritan taking on an armed robber in richmond. you can see the robber and the clerk goes for a gun, they fight then a 49-year-old customer approaches and takes him down. wow the suspect was arrested and police say it was a risky move. and nobody was hurt. >> hercules city council is asking prosecutors to look into city officials asking the district attorney and state attorney general investigation and mentions

nelson oliva. so far, 250 residents have signed this petition. >> well, one third of the king city police force is under investigation, accused in a corruption scandal. king city is in monterey county. six officers arrested on multiple charges including the former and acting chiefs of police the district attorney says officers targeted mostly spanish speakers by stealing their cars for profit. the owner of the tow truck company is also suspected in the scheme. some off officers are expected to appear in court on monday. >> federal marshals arrested a contractor today following a lengthy investigation by seven on your side >> the contractor accused of taking money for painting job was out finishing the work. frustrating.

>> yes. the contractor is on the state most-wanted list. today, he's under arrest with help from the u.s. marshal and fugitive task force. he is facing 15 criminal counts including six felonies on suspicion of using a phony contractor's license. this is a case i've been following since 2008. he was convicted of similar charges following a seven on your side investigation. numerous homeowners told us he took money for painting jobs that never completed the work. wilson resurfaced in 2011 placed on state contractor license boards most-wanted list. gloria brooks regrets hiring him in 2014. >> this part of the house that was damaged. mr. wilson left it undone. >> wilson arraigned this
