molestation. he was a teacher at making waves. he was fired after complaints of child molestation. while that's going on he got a job at myra vista school. that's raising questions. how did myra vista not know. >> obviously safety is the first priority. we expect to continue to be a safe school. >> reporter: the principal says the hr department found no criminal history. now they are wondering if there are victims at myra vista. he only work here for months but they say the investigation is ongoing. amy hollyfield. >> storm moving out, a fast moving front brought much needed

pedestrians lost lives last year, five killed this year. mayor lee expected to implement recommendations, seeking improvements in tenderloin and south market area where 60% of fatal pedestrian accidents occurred. improvements include curb extensions, make pedestrians more visible, reducing speed limits and retiming traffic signals. opponents of gun law will ask federal appeals court onfor an emergency stay. the federal judge approved law which bans large capacity magazines or those that hold more than 10 bullets. the nra and gun owners took it to court saying it violated the amendment. they disagree. they will take their case to ninth circuit court of appeals in san francisco. last month another judge upheld

the city's high-capacity magazine ban on similar. tonight a task force will hold a third public meeting to look into racial tensions on campus after alleged hate crimes on a black student. the 18-member panel of students, academics and community members has met twice in the last month, this after a black student came forward claiming four white roommates tormented him for months. the students have been suspended and face hate crime. the task force meets three more times after tonight and will make its recommendation in april. tonight's meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the engineering building. plans for concord naval station are continuing but media partner, contra costa times plans for building california state university campus in the city have been dropped. east bay officials say the university with drew because it could not reach terms with the federal government on a list of conditions trustees put out in 2010. the decision means contra costa county will remain the only

county in the state with a population of at least a million that does not have a csu campus. they will consider proposals for redeveloping the property. palo alto and largest employees union agreed to labor contract after months of tense negotiations. san jose mercury news reports all 570 members of service union will receive 4.5% cost of living adjustment over the next two years retroactive to december. workers would see a change in the way health insurance premiums are paid. palo alto would no longer cover 90% of the cost. instead the city would pay a fixed rate. the union will ratify the agreement. city council will vote march 17th. a warning from alameda, 17 burglaries between january 18 and february 27th. police say the majority of the crimes happened during daylight hours usually at the beginning of the week. the burglars kicked indoors and pride in windows to get in.

police are warning neighbors to be aware of suspicious activity and report to police. vallejo hope a hidden security feature will help them recover 17 stolen laptops. these are a few taken after thieves grabbed computers out of a car on saturday. the laptops have a security feature that when activated snaps a picture of the person who opens the computer. laptops going to an after school program. if you recognize the people in these photos, contact vallejo police department. school teachers deciding whether to expel three third graders for smoking marijuana at school. officers say it happened at an elementary school in sonora, east of stockton last week. another student reported the two 8 years old and 9-year-old smoking pot in a boys bath radio. it comes as a huge surprise to other students and their parents. >> yeah, in third grade and have their own pipe. >> it was bad. they were little kids and it

were excited about miles' appearance and he was anxious to wear a tuxedo on the stage. batkid stole hearts of everyone in november after make a wish granted his wish to become a superhero for the day and save gotham. as for oscars the family did not know exactly what he was going to do but he would be with other actors as part of a segment on superheroes. they confirmed rehearsal on saturday. sometime between saturday rehearsal and sunday show, it was cut. when they learned he was not on the show they went to disney land instead. they spent sunday and monday at the happiest place on earth. nbc news contacted for comment but they have not made a statement. if you like to shop, a nordstrom rack opened up on 5th and market street. doors open at 9:00. but if you're a hard core shopper and want to get there an hour early you could win a

here is what happened while you were sleeping. cold front raced through, a little line of energy tried to roll in behind it. that will kick up sprinkles or drizzle this morning. there's another branch that will break off this area of low pressure and slide across the north bay. north bay you naturally get lift because of the elevation. leftover moisture, heating of the day. a very, very small chance of a shower. lets take a look at accuweather forecast. high clouds and sunshine friday and saturday. we'll push the low 70s away from the coast. low- to mid-60s there. saturday night into sunday morning, that's when daylight savings begins and we lose that hour of sleep. sunday night into monday morning next chance of light rain mainly across the north bay. spring warmth and sunshine tuesday and wednesday. have a good one. some wet roads out there this morning. if you're driving into work, maybe slow the speeds down a hair because it is slippery out there. earlier, speaking of which, we had a car go off the road right here at this exit ramp.

his wife is from kansas city, which explains why mike likes him so much. >> and he was wearing khakis at the same time as well. tonight a celebration held along embarcadero in san francisco to mark a year since bay lights art display illuminated on the western span bridge. 20,000 of led bulbs turned off temporarily at 7:00 p.m. organizers say the bridge will be bark for 10 minutes as a reminder what the bridge is like without them. at 7:10 a relighting ceremony will begin with music to match the lights show. the arts organization is launching a new fundraising campaign to raise $12 million to keep the lights on until 2026. san francisco officials confirmed scenes from the next terminator movie will be shot in the city. terminator starring former arnold schwarzenegger will begin shooting in april. expected to last four and a half months with filming in new orleans and san francisco.
