needs to be the same in every case. >> the bill now goes to two committees in the state legislature and if passed could end up being law as of january 1st. >> and breaking news in oakland a will being down has been lifted at a charter school a student was reportedly assaulted. sky seven hd shows police investigating at world academy on 28th avenue. a 7-year-old girl told police she was touched by a man not part of the school staff. police have not been able to find that man. she described him as a white man, unknown age, about six feet tall. she says the man has black hair and a mustache and wearing a black tee shirt, blue jeans and brown sketchers shoes. a suspected killer under arrest for a 25-year-old cold case the victim was kathy zimmer.

police never found her killer. last month, police showed off this kwailt quilt wrapped around her bod yeechl they say they received numerous tips. today, arresting her husband, david zimmer and charged him with murder and arrested his brother. >> we have both physical evidence, linking robert zimmer and financial motive evidence linking david zimmer to the crime. >> investigators say her husband cashed in two life insurance policies. >> after repeated complaints from uc berkeley students their sexual assault cases have been botched or ignored there is action tonight the president of the university of california system announced sweeping policy changes. abc7 news is live tonight with the story. laura? >> hi, dan. well here in berkeley survivors

this is the "jeopardy!" battle of the decades. let's meet today's former champions de -- he was a college student from lancaster, pennsylvania, when he won the 2001 tournament of champions. since then, he won the million dollar masters tournament in 2002, the 2005 ultimate tournament of champions, and faced off against i.b.m.'s watson. here's "jeopardy's!" all-time biggest money winner... [ applause ] he was an attorney when he won the 1996 tournament of champions. now he's earning a master's degree in sustainability and environmental management. from gainesville, florida, please welcome...
