richmond and pulling out out of fairfax and headed to san francisco, the wettest spot is the richmond-san rafael bridge. the bigger picture shows how narrow this band is only 33 miles across so it will come in, it will dump enough rain to make the morning commute challenging. it will move on then, and do nothing for the drought. it will keep the temperatures in the mid-50's. by noon, we have breaks in the cloud cover and low 60's and it will be a mild day at 4:00 with close to average temperatures and enjoy sun and dry weather this evening in the mid-50's to low 60. >> the traffic is getting busy with a solo spinout blocking a lane, and fortunately, it is non-commute direction and westbound is bunching up at the bay bridge toll plaza with no metering light.

of the little league so the field and a shed burned and a third fire broke out at warm springs park inside the woman's bathroom. this is the elementary school: the trailer is being used for day care and investigators arrived the past hour and our reporter is there gathering any information with the latest at 6:30. >> developing news, people in the bay area reported feeling a 6.9 magnitude earthquake that hit off the northern california coast last night at 10:18 and what four miles beneath the pacific ocean. there were no immediate reports of dam or injuries but the shaking was felt through the north coast and parts of southern oregon and as far south as san diego. it has been shaking all my at least 19 after shocks have been reported one measuring 4.6

leading authorities on a multicounty pursuit from richmond to san jose. jeffrey ruano is accused of trying to hit two officers on saturday in the mission. he shot san francisco police officer adam shaw on florida street while trying to evade officer shaw and his partner. according to police ruano aimed his car at officers and he took off. the bullet him the officer in the shoulder and he had emergency surgery right away. multiple shots were fired. the first shots came from the car being driven by ruano. the partner fired shots when he

says the car being driven by ruano started to reverse toward them. ruano has been charged with using the car in an assault but not charged with shooting at the officer. he is expected to make the first court appearance this week. now to the midair mystery involving a missing malaysia airlines jet. there is still no sign of the plane that had more than 200 people on board. we are in washington with details on the puzzle baffling everything including investigators. >> the multinational effort to find the plane is expanding. teams are now going to seven 100 nautical miles from where the aircraft was last spotted and american experts are now on scene but have now found anything. >> teams are scouring the border between malaysia and same looking for the wreckage of

malaysia airlines flight mh370 but ships have not found anything. we learned scientists determined an oil slick sample from the south china sea was not from the flight. >> we have not found anything that appears to be an object from the malaysia airlines flight. >> the family members were told to prepare for the worse. an american passenger, philip woods' mother is shocked. how it feels to lose a son at the aim of 50 is devastating. i know in my heart that he is with god. >> authorities say military radar suggests the plane flying from kuala lumpur to beijing may have been turning around before it vanished but there was no may day or communication and the plane was at cruising altitude. >> that is a really, really really safe place so it makes the mystery that much deeper.

>> we start with breaking news we brought you at 4:30 fremont firefighters are investigating flee overnight fires on two different school campuses. >> we have new information with what students and staff will find when they return to campus. matt? >> light shows just starting in fremont the last 15 to 20 minutes and it is not stepping the investigation into the three suspicious fires. i spoke with a worker with the ymca and they have a before and after school day care program on the campus at the elementary school and they are work on getting another room if use before the students start arriving at 7:00. that is because the firefighters have blocks east building, and the bottom the exterior was damaged one of throw fires started this morning. first call came in at warm springs elementary at 2:40. firefighters found a shed on fire next to the little league baseball field much it was

good morning, from the traffic center we are over a sig-alert accident in pleasanton area. it was a big huge dump truck, 53' long trailer caught on fire and was fully engulfed. the fire engines blocked the right lane 6 traffic. look at that backup from tracy to pleasant hill. it is an hour and 35 minutes from dubliner tracy to the dublin/pleasanton. >> the only way around this, that would be bart at 57 trains on time this morning. a horrendous accident with fire and the big dump truck westbound 580 at pleasanton. we have a new accident to report in 80 berkeley westbound and i am not sigh it on the live shot maybe closer to university we will watch this.

we understand that in videos you will see only here the arrest of the 60-year-old jeffrey ruano as he was taken into custody after leading authorities on a multicounty pursuit from richmond to san jose early on sunday morning. he is accused of trying to hit two officers in the mission with his car on saturday. ruano shot san francisco police officer adam shaw in the 1300 block of florida street after a traffic stop. >> the officer is in good spirits, standing and moved to a wheelchair. >> police say multiple shots were fired at seen -- the scene and the first shot came from the car being driven by ruano. the car being driven by ruano started reverting toward the officers. he has been charged with using the car as an assault weapon.

he has not been charged with the shoot the officer but is expected in court later this week. >> at san francisco general for abc7 news. >> investigators are back at the scene of a stage collapse at a high school in anaheim. it was caught on cell tone -- cell phone video when the stage gave away on saturday night. 250 students were on stage. investigators are checking the permits to see if it included a weight restriction or limit on the number of people. >> this morning in southern california two women are recovering after being stung by a swarm of bees. it happened near los angeles yesterday involved in an accident and the driver hit a driver and knocked over a hive. the 17 yield driver was sting about 50 times but a 51-year-old was stung a thousand times.
