blocked until 6:00 this morning. the headlights in the northbound direction, are accident free so far this morning. >> good to see you. >> breaking news in richmond where a dangerous high speed chase that began in sacramento ended with speed topping 100 miles per hour. matt? >> if you are driving this morning, be careful. if you exit the carlson boulevard exit off of westbound 80 one of the stoplights is actually on the ground at the exit because a car crashed into it. the c.h.p. started chasing the car in the sacramento area last night at 70 miles later it crashed after midnight. spike trips were used and the was war driving on rims when it entered contra costa county and c.h.p. stopped the pursuit because of safety reasons.

the officers say the driver lost control of the car after he exited at carlson boulevard. it appeared driver failed to negotiate the turn and took out a light pole. however, the light pole stayed attach to the vehicle. >> the driver tried to run off. here is the suspect in the back of the patrol car. no word on charge or why he ran from officers in the first place. it is confusing at the exit with one stoplight blinking broad, the other stoplight is a solid red and i have not seen that stop line turn green in the last half hour so that means when you get to this four way intersection you will have to stop and hopefully that will be fixed when the commute comes

"los angeles times" reports thousands of pill may have been sold. officials from d.e.a. say 37,000 painkillers were taken from the cvs stores. they have not responded to any requests for more information. a man is dead after being shot in the head in the mission district. the victim was found around action yesterday. the car he was in was peppered with bullet holes. officers have future released any information on the suspect or motive. >> international authorities identified both of the
