>> one day after a violent clash on the city college campus, students continue their protests and moved to san francisco city hall hoping to get attention of city officials. good afternoon, everybody, i'm larry beil. >> we're live now with today's develop manimeny -- developmen. >> reporter: remember, city college has been under the direction of the accrediting committee. many people believe it's time to take city college back.

>> an exhausted and hungry group of students chanted before leaving the administration building. things quickly changed and when students started entering the building city college and san francisco police officers tried to stop them. a spokesperson for the college said one student had to be pepper sprayed. >> within the building refused to come out. asked to leave the building cooperatively. he refused to and then, he made a threatening gesture towards police. >> the school allowed some students to sleep in the lobby. others camped out in front of the building the students are mad about a new payment policy requiring students to set up a payment plan before signing up for classes >> we just want the school for

run fairly and affordable. >> but the college maintain that's is not sustainable. >> at city college at one point there was a deficit of unpaid tuition >> we want our board back and we want it now. >> students and faculty found support in the assembly man tom amiano. most are behind a proposal to bring back the elected board of trustees. >> immediately restore the dually elected board of trustees the right to convene, discuss and make decisions regarding direction and progress. >> the college has been under the direction of a special trusty who makes uni lateral decisions >> more than a dozen students from four schools have been dismrined for sharing sexually ex-accomplicive photos. one student is accused of

coercing one of the girls into sex on campus and could face charges a parent contacted the district after hearing a rumor of the photos being shared. >> the police department have hosted classes and we do that in our schoolses well. >> the district attorney is reviewing this case to determine if charges should be filed oochl more new twists in the search for that malaysia airlines flight. >> u.s. and malaysian officials say the flight may have taken 12 of paths northeast off the coast of india or southeast into the indian ocean. officials are exploring whether it crashes or perhaps a remote chain of islands. >> malaysian authorities say they have yet to search the homes of the pilots and we're

learning a 27-year-old usc grad was among those on the plane. >> nearly a week since the night vanished. two clues could indicate someone with experience took the plane off course the first clue the final data transition sent at 1:07 a.m . the second transponder shut off. after that, it could have flown four hours, as far as 400 miles from malaysia. that explains the massive expansive search area. farther south and into the indian ocean. officials say only options are on the table. >> can you explain if you have evidence you can confirm how the transponder and systems were shut down system matticly? >> there are 4 or 5
