look at some of the video, concord police are vetting a hit-and-run vehicle and pedestrian collision on willow pass. the victim was struck while walking westbound on the sidewalk. the vehicle was driving eastbound on willow pass and this happened just before midnight. >> our investigation revealed that the victim was struck and killed by a vehicle which fled the scene. we have witnesses but the description of the suspect vehicle is vague. it is only described as a pickup truck possibly two tone pickup. >> police are still investigating exactly what kind of vehicle that may been so they can release the information to the public. the driver did leave the scene. the drive did not step. they are speaking to witnesses and looking at surveillance video they have collected in the neighborhood from residents and neighboring businesses.

they hope it can reveal more. they are being tightlipped about the identification of their victim but we have learned it was a female victim. they are still trying to notify the next of kin. this stretch of road has been shut down near 5th to 6th and will remain shut down until at least 6:00 this morning. >> we have developing news from the south bay where authorities are look into an overnight fire at a san jose home after the discovery of a marijuana grow operation that started at 10:30 last night with flames spreading from the garage the attic the crews waited for pg&e to arrive and turn off power before they could enter. own are said there were 70 marijuana plants and a smaller wanty outside and he has a permit to grow. >> the fairfield father accused

biting off his baby's nose is expected to appear in court today to hear the charges. the baby's mother said she has been at oakland children's hospital since thursday when doctors spent five hours reattaching the nose of the newborn. here is that story. >> he seemed so happy. he seemed so happy with ta'jon and me. we were all a family. >> heartbroken and confused the 16-year-old angelika riggins has in idea why her son ta'jon was. had by his own father. 16 years old she remembers getting ready for school on thursday and she went to the bathroom leaving the two alone and never heard ta'jon cry. >> two minutes later i come into a disgusting scene. 18-year-old old keep are said he bit off the nose because he could not get the baby quick crying but angelika riggins is not buying that. >> i didn't see no anger, i

>> a man is in serious condition this morning after being hit by a tour bus in san francisco. the agree line bus hit the victim at 7th at 8:00 yesterday morning and the victim, a man in his 60's suffered life threatening injuries. the driver has been with the company if a none of years and the driver's record is clean. a combination of drunk driving and distracted driving is the cause of a crash that killed a music teacher and her mother-in-law. the two died instantly when a truck rear ended their car. she taught music in the union school district and c.h.p. officers say the suspected drunk driver told them he was looking at a text message moments before the collision. police in milpitas are looking for a driver who hit an elderly man and sped away leaving him with serious injuries at 8:30 last night on south park victoria drive.
