wounds and multiple victims. >> i copy. you have multiple victims. >> we have several people down out here. >> that's the dramatic police dispatch call after at least seven people were shot in san francisco. good evening. i'm ama dates. the first reports came in from turk and taylor in the sen deer loin neighborhood -- tenderloin neighborhood. we start with lilian kim live at the scene. lilian? >> witnesses say they heard as many as 18 gunshots and it happened just before 9:00 p.m. at the corner of turk and taylor streets. seven people were shot during a fight. witnesses are not all that surprised 245* it happened at a this particular

intersection. turk and taylor is one of the most interesting in the tenderloin. video from a resident shows what it was like moments after the shooting. it was a chaotic scene. gunshot vehicle times on the ground with people trying to help. police and ambulances arriving, and the ambulance transporting 17 people to the hospital. >> i characterize it as a fight and then shots fired after the fight or during the fight. >> one person was shot, and i saw the people running as they were getting shot they were falling. >> i heard a bunch of gunshots. by the time we got out they had left. we saw a couple guys laying down on the floor. >> the victims are said to have nonlife-threatening injuries. police are hoping that surveillance video on some of the buildings will help with their investigation. live in san francisco, lilian kim, abc7 news. >> thank you, lilian.

now to sergio who is live at san francisco general hospital where several of those victims were taken. sergio? >> ama minutes after the shooting a small fleet of ambulances started pulling into the emergency department here at san francisco general hospital. go ahead and roll some of that video. we saw a a total of six victims being brought in on either stretchers or wheelchairs. a san francisco police spokesperson says all of the victims were hit in their extremities. you can gather they were hit in their arms or legs and all are noncritical injuries. there were also lots of people here we assume are family and friends. right now there are lots of police officers here. clearly there is an effort to gather more information from the victims who may have seen what happened. and also any of those family friends who might have been at the scene and who might also be able to provide details in this. as lilian mentioned there are a total of seven people who were injured in the shooting
