>> good morning, everyone. at 5:00 we with have 38 bart trains on time. ace train also has no delayed. muni has in delayed. we start off on a great note. around the bay area, we have areas of fog. we are still at top speeds leaving santa rosa to rohnert park with limited visibility. with the low beams and not the high beams. over the altamont pass we have 29 miles per hour over the pass as the top speed. it someones -- jumps to 28 and then you are on your way. >> seven are recovering from gunshot wounds after a shooting in san francisco. amy hollyfield is at san francisco general hospital with the latest. i talked to police. they did not make arrests. there are a lot of ones. look at this cell phone video

taken after the shooting. as you can see this were a lot of people in the tenderloin district. it was tough to get a lock but people hope someone saw something. witnessing say there was an argument before the shooting and a man got out of the car and started firing into the crowd. >> a bunch of gunshots. when we get out, they had left and a couple of guys were laying down. >> seven people were taken to san francisco general hospital. you can tell from the video the victims look like they are going to be okay. they are conscious. police say some suffered only grazed. people hope they can talk to the people would were involved so they can figure out would shot

landslide. officials in snohomish county say four more bodies were discovered bringing the death toll to eight. self were critically injured by the mudslide that struck and 30 homes were destroyed. >> a lost commotion and people that are very scareed. >> devastation is overwhelming. i had a sense that we will have hard news here. >> 18 people are still missing. >> dogs arrest at the school today to comfort students whose teacher was killed in a car accident this month. the 53-year-old teacher and her 74-year-old mother-in-law died instantly after a truck rear ended their car. she taught music in the school

district and a 30-year-old told them he was looking at a text moments before the collision and is suspected of driving under the influence. preparations are underway to cut and separate the original section of the old eastern bay bridge. officials will provide more details of the demolition later today. the cut is part of the first phase of the demolition process. when the bridge is separated the contractor can remove steel members. tonight is the chance to weigh in on a proposal to tax sugar drinks and soda in san francisco. this is a townhall meeting. supervisors are expected to attend. they are considering a ballot measure recalling for two cent an ounce tax on sodas and energy drinks and other sugar beverages. it does not apply to diet sodas and natural juices and milk raising an estimated $31 million for nutrition and physical education and water bottle filling stations.

from the east bay, a little bit of haze around the port of oakland and mostly the fog is stuck in the north bay, 38 to 48 and it is cooler this morning than yesterday morning and lack of cloud cover and mild by noon and 60 degrees at the coast and 70 inland. warm away from the cost and the rest of us in the low-to-mid 70's and nice this evening, 56 at the cost and total sunshine today. moving forward it all changes with light rain in the forecast and we drop fur to -- four to eight degrees with showers through wednesday and thursday morning and thursday afternoon we are between systems but more is on the way for the weekend forecast. >> good morning, everyone, we have limited visibility in the north by so be careful of that. if you are headed and san francisco from the peninsula we have this accident with minor injuries, a car want down a ditch northbound 101 at third

continuing the economy with revenue growing, raises have been given to a quarter of the employees awarding $1.2 million to staff including the highest paid. the raises range from up to 6 percent and mostly given to employee whose have not had races recently. the brown administration will decide whether state budgets will justify a 2 percent for 180,000 rank and file employees who faced furloughs during the recession. >> police in new york are looking for the parents of a boy left in the cold in harlem. officials say the baby was found abandoned in a stroller across the street a firehouse last night. michael allen looked out the window, saw the strollers went to the park and flagged down the firefighters bundled up and appeared okay. parents can lobby a baby at a fire station without fear of process but only if the child is

nine the gunman would opened fire on a street filled with people injuring seven. amy hollyfield? we are told the victims are expected to survive. there are a lot of victims. ones say the gunman fired into a crowd of people and shot seven people at 9:00 last night in the tenderloin district. the shooter was in a car and there was an argument. the guy got out and started shooting and the people started running and scattered. i saw people falling. that is all i saw. look at this video of the victims brought to san francisco general. there were seven. they look to be okay. police say this morning that some of them suffered only graze

o'hare at 3:00 their time. the train jumped a bumper and went office the sidewalk and up the stairs to an escalator. there was concern that people were trapped under the train but that was not true. they not life threatening injuries. investigators with the ntsb are headed to the scene. 18 people are still missing this morning in rural washington after a deadly month slide that happened saturday morning in snohomish county 54 miles north of seattle. the death toll rose to eight at four more bodies were found. crews will look for the missing but it is tough work wading through mud in an area that covering a square mile. 30 homes were damaged in the slide. seven survivors are in the hospital. the youngest is just six months.

said goodbye to the bicycle path on the eastern span of the bay bridge. the $9.4 million path will be torn do to make way for a permanent bicycle path. it is less than seven months old which puts costs of the temporary bridge at $47,000 a day. officials say the cost was higher than expected but the money was needed to on the path for bicyclists and walkers when it opened for cars. the permanent path is scheduled to open march 31. >> law enforcement officers from across california will attend a public memorial service for northern california sheriff deupty would grew up in the north bay. the service is held on wednesday for 48-year-old men mendocino armed kidnapping system. the memorial is held at cotton auditorium at fort bragg at 10:00 a.m. >> organizers of a fundraiser

as far as our weather, if you are taking the weather look how calm the weather is. congratulations. it is not much to contend with this morning. high pressure is going to bring us sunshine and the warmest afternoon is today. from here it goes down as we have unsettled pattern with midweek and weekend chance of rain. today we will have upper 50's and low 60's along the coast and mid-to-upper 60's around san francisco and richmond and san mateo and the rest of us are warmer with low-to-mid 70's and the warmest weather is around san jose at 75 and antioch and livermore and all at 76. tonight it is quiet. the cold front is going to bring us the wet weather starting tomorrow dug the morning commute and after the commute it moves through the heart of bay and by 2:00 or 3:00 it moves out of the south bay with a break in the evening and as we head to the
