with amy hollyfield on the scene. >> this happened at an apartment complex in livermore. the fire is out. they are trying to figure if they can find a place if everyone to stay. i am joined by the fire chief. can you tell us of the injuries to the person would was airlifted out of here. >> there was one male adult in the apartment of original gin with burns on his hands and face. he was airlifted to a burn center. >> everyone else was okay? >> yes, no other injuries. >> the building? what was the damage? >> a total of eight units affected by the fire. two were virtually destroyed. the other units have water damage or damage through ventilating the roof. >> you have the fire out and it is early. any ideas or indications what started the fire?

left court and got in a car speeding off and not speaking with anyone. charges include weapons trafficking. remember, this is the state senator who is an outspoken advocate if gun control. and public corruption and teaing bribes. f.b.i. agents have been dealing with him and acting as if they were in on the illegal act. he said he needed $70,000 to pay off campaign debt for the run for mayor of san francisco. currently he was running for secretary of state and it was just last month that he told the undercover agents that if his bid for secretary of state fell through he would "cash in on his connections in asia," and we understand he was talking about dealing arms. there were hundreds of agents would raided multiple locations here in the bay area and his sacramento office and a house in san mateo may have been an

indoor marijuana grow. his attorney spoke with us briefly and said only that he will be pleading not guilting. 26 others were indicted with the state senator. word of his arrest spread through the community he republics and many are now weighing in. he had nothing to say when he returned home last note after being released on bail from federal custody. we talked with neighbors who are shocked by the charges. >> politicians are...more corrupt. >> i was waiting for something to him because he was kind of slimy. i figured something would happen down the road. >> he was an advocate of gun safety. if the gun trafficking allegations prove true, he would be one of the biggest hypocrites

training. a man was fired from making waves academy after molestation allegations surfaced. he then land add job at another elementary school without undergoing a background check because he worked there before. he was arrested this month and faces 28 felony counts. >> today if san francisco, the city planning commission is set to consider new rules for medical marijuana dispensaries. under the proposal, they are allowed to move closer to schools and child facilities and parks and recreation areas. they are not allowed within 1,000 feet. there will be a buffer zone of 600' which is what the state requires. >> attorneys head to san francisco superior court to argue for the immediate release of public records from the california public out estimates commission involving their relationship with pg&e. officials believe the records show a cozy relationship between

the state regulation industry and pg&e that led to the cause of the 2010 gas pipebehind explosion and fire. san bruno file the original public records lawsuit last month after they refused to fulfill four separate public records request dating back more than ten months. richmond residents are given priority in hiring for the $1 billion chevron refinery modernization project. the project is expected to create 1,500 jobs and two-thirds in construction. the chevron will turn to richmond businesses for goods and services for the project. the city council will vote on the moddennization plan in the summer. if approved construction could begin by the end of the year. >> more rain is expected in the days to come after wild weather rolling through northern california. it appears the tornado touched down in roseville. jason posted this video, 12 homes had roof damage, two houses were battered by debris
