was soaked from every direction today. >> not a good day for anyone out here today. the -- it was like a double whammy. the rain cancelled the game for the a's, and then there was another sewage issue to deal with. it wasn't just on the field but also in the coaches area of theways clubhouse. this is cell phone video shot by the third base coach, mike gallego. clear water is on the floor. this fourth problem with the plumbing since june last year and that time there was an issue in the team's clubhouse showers in september sewage was coming into the a's dugout and coaches' dressing rooms. die hardways fans promised to keep coming back. >> we always came toways games so no matter what's going on we want to support them. >> we've been around them so many use. i'm i pressed, i did affect the a's on the field but puts a

meteorologist leigh glaser has a look at cons right -- conditions right now. >> lisa is right. monday will be very wet around the bay area. storm system winding down, still in moderate rain across some parts of the bay area. you can see the yellows and oranges, dublin, livermore, fremont getting ready to get hit with moderate rain. starting to ease up near memoryville. oakland -- near emeryville. and morgan hill, you're expecting more rain. it's been pretty nice, though, close to a half to a quarter inch across most of the bay area. you can see greater amounts, san rafael, over an inch. we are in a wet period and we'll take a look at my seven-day

forecast. >> in san francisco this massive tree came crashing down just before noon. the tree wiped out gas and power lines connected to the house. crews quickly responded to cut down the tree and repair the damaged line. no one was hurt when the tree came down. >> in marin county another tree collapses. it shut down traffic around 9:30 this morning. crews worked for more than an hour to cut up the tree and clear it away. >> a hebly mountain resort in lake tahoe, rain is turning into snow. they're hoping for up to seven inches to fall today. snow is expected at heavenly through thursday. you can track the rain using live doppler 7hd on our abc7 news weather app. >> san francisco police say an officer's gun went off accidentally today, nearly hitting a suspect.

sergio quintana is live on broadway, with the details. reporter: this all happened this morning at 10:45 when broadway is a whole lot more quieter than right now. investigators saw the gun did go off. it wasn't intentional, and the bullet hit the driver's side door of a suspected stolen car. the bullet hit close to where the driver's head should be. this is a stolen car, late model honda accord, and i you look at the driver's side door there's a bullet hole. police say the officer's gunnening intentionally when off as the driver made an escape. >> the suspect's door on the vehicle was slightly ajar. the motion of the vehicle caused the door fling open, striking the officer in the arm. at that time is when the impact caused the weapon to go off. reporter: in the surveillance video from a nearby business you can see a police car pass by, then moments later make a u

turn. police say their officer spotted the stolen car because his cruiser is equipped with license plate detecting cameras. but when he tried to engage the driver, he sped off. the officer was not injured when he was hit by the door of the stolen car. the green honda was found a few blocks away but the driver was gone. >> the vehicle was located with a bullet hole in the vehicle but does not appear that any person was struck. reporter: police have not released a description of the suspect in this case. in san francisco, abc7 news. a large crowd crying for justice in the death of a city college of san francisco student marched in the city's mission district today. nearly 300 people joined in this march. they want police to answer questions regarding the shooting death of 28-year-old alejandro nieto in a bernal heights park. police say nieto opinion it a weapon at them. the weapon was a taser. >> confession is liberation.

no police officers who were there, they know that our brother did not point a taser at them. nieto used the stun gun for his job as a security guard. taiwanese americans and their supports took to the streets of san francisco over an trade pact with china. protesters say it will pave the way for the chinese to eventually take over the island nation. happening now. firefighters are still on the scene of a two-alarm fire in san ensell mow. the crews were able to knock it down in about a half an hour. the red cross is there to help at least one family displaced by the fire.

another two-large fire at the same building killed man and hurt a man in 2008. in richmond, home owner says this is becoming a common occurrence. just before 6:00 this morning, consider lost control on hilltop drive, crashed through the home owner's fence before it flipped over and slid against the house. the home owner says this is the third vehicle that has has hit his home and steffen time someone has ended up in his yard. still ahead at 6:00, aftershocks keep coming after a moderate earthquake rocks southern california. a look at some of the damage it caused. why tesla may have to allow independentealerships to sell its electric cars if it wants to expand in one u.s. state. and, a look at the big sendoff to the white house for five women being honored for their roles during world war ii.

for now tesla will be able to sell cars in new york, though the company may have to set up dealerships some day. tesla and the automobile dealer association reached a deal over five tesla stores open in the new york area. dealerships say their illegal because the sell directly to customers. the deal means tesla will be

and then this is the stronger storm system that will bring us a wet and stormy day on monday. here's the forecast timing for this system. we'll begin tomorrow morning, early in the morning, 5:00, wake up to that mist and drizzle possibly near the coast, and then get ready for lots of sunshine tomorrow afternoon. overnight, in through the monday morning hours, that is when the next set of rain will start to move in. this is 1:00 monday afternoon. very heavy rainfall moving in from ukiah down towards santa rosa, by 5:00 commute time on monday, moderate rain moving in. slight break for us overnight monday. early tuesday morning, yet another band of moderate rain will wind in through the bay area, until 10:00 tuesday morning, and then after that it does look like we'll get into a nice break for wednesday. now, more snow expected in the high country overnight. storm warning until 5:00 tomorrow morning. eight inches of new snow below
