ravines and searched along several creeks mount tam has over 200 miles of trails. glenncowski recently moved back to the bay area. she was a software developer and had been unemployed for two weeks there are reports her linkedn profile had been updated over the weekend but that has not been confirmed. . >> i checked her account. and it's no different than when it was on wednesday. so if it was changed, it was changed before then. >> her father hopes someone remembers seeing her. >> if anyone remembers her, please call park rangers. >> the last person who got lost on mount tam was found. that was in 2010. abc7 news. >> here is the latest on a breaking story we brought you at 4:00. flames levelled one home in san jose, and damaged two others on moss brook circle near west gate mall. david louie is live at the scene

for us with the latest. david? >> reporter: fire units are still here on the scene because there is a potential the fire could reignite they say there are still pockets of natural gas. now, sky 7 was over head just minutes after this fire broke out at 3:00 this afternoon. flames spread on either side of the scene. one person was home, and 12 people were evacuated to the school around the corner. they were not injured. smoke rose into the skies into campbell. the house where the fire originated was destroyed this neighborhood is filled with eichlers, a popular home from the 50s and 60s >> the walls are made of old

there is a state of emergency because of an old bridge in san francisco deteriorating rapidly. tral trance used the kwint street bridge every day. abc7 news reporter vic lee is live at the station in the city with more on this for us. vic? >> reporter: well, there is a sense of urgency because trains cross the quint street bridge 92 times every di. cal train is trying to come up with a plan as soon as possible. we're told that the planning should take about a week, and then, two more weeks for the work to be done. >> i'm sure should have been done a long time ago. i'm glad they're making repairs. >> most of the cal train riders

never heard of the quint street bridge. news of the emergency repairs caught them by surprise. the bridge is in bad shape the floor beams are corroding. sections, cracking. flanges are breaking. cal train has been inspecting the bridge every month. last week the board declared an emergency. >> the bridge has deteriorated more rapidly. so we're going have to do emergency repairs. >> reporter: trains have been slowed to ten miles per hour to help reduce further damage lous martinez wondered why it slows down. now, he knows >> well, man, i hope they get it fixed up, quick. you know? >> we're going to sandwich the

a winter time business trip to lake tahoe turned nightmarish for a hayward couple. >> they asked michael finney to make things right for them. >> couple left stranded in lake tahoe in their rented vehicle broke down and fox rent a car couldn't provide a replacement. finding a way home from tahoe
