>> right now. the fire that rips through san jose home destroying cars and damaging 2 other houses is still smoldering. >> crews still dousing the rubble with water and cleaning up debris hours later. good evening. >> i'm carolyn. the fire started on moss brook circle in san jose. that's where allen is for us tonight. allen? >>reporter: the neighbors would live here and the next door neighbor have to stay with friend tonight. but the neighbor over here the home is charred but still liveable. now while one thing that firefighters are doing is put out hot spots tonight and still trying to figure out how it all started. they do know is that these types of homes are extremely vulnerable to fire. more than 6 hours later the house on moss brook circle was
