live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. it is 5:00 on tuesday. thank you pore joining us. eric thomas is up, i am kristen sze. but meteorologist mike nicco, how are we waking up? >> warmth is not taking a day off. it may later on in the seven-day forecast but another warm one especially away from the coast. live doppler 7 hd shows it is dry and showing low clouds and a few high clouds that will vietnam in as we hoof through the day. that is the difference compared to yesterday but we will have high clouds. temperature-wise, cooler at the coast 66 to 70 and warm inland. 74 to 85 and around the bay, 80 to 87. temperatures are well above average, almost 15 degrees above average. leyla gulen?

the campbell border and firefighters say a gas line in the first house was shooting out flames that burned through electrical wires and flames spread to two other homes. the neighborhood is made up ickler homes which can work against them. >> nice hopes and they are built for open space with a lot of natural air blow and natural lighting and to bring the outdoors in, with an open configuration it helps the fire to spread. >> crews got the fire under control around 11:00 and at least seven people are displaced. no one was hurt. the cause is under investigation. >> novato place hope you can fine a man detectives believes could be linked to a homicide. this sketch resembles a man called "person of interest" after a hiker discovered a man's body in the open space area on saturday at a park. the victim has been identified

because they played the dodgers and the diamondbacks and they will do it again tonight at 1:35 with the temperatures in the north bay and you can see the temperatures erupting very nicely and milder than they should be compared to the history couple of mornings so i will get this started starting with live doppler 7 hd and i will show you how some high clouds are moving in and how we have low clouds at the coast but notice there is no precipitation. they are keeping the temperatures up. here we are, in the north bay quickly 43 in novato and everyone else in the low-to-mid 50's and a lot of mid-to-upper fists into the east bay valley. brentwood is 58. san jose and alameda, along with redwood city, the warmest spots.

and sausalito and as far as the north bay, home 80's and as we head into the east bay shoreline, upper 70's to nearly 80 with 83 in castro valley the warm spot and as you go through the east you will have mid-80's in the east bay valley. >> expect more 50's tonight and more cloud cover at the coast and holding steady through thursday and drop on friday and saturday and at our coolest we are sometime above average. the crash has cleared northbound to westbound 4 with no cars blobbing lanes and all on the shoulder. all at top speeds and green. westbound 580 is bumper-to-bumper truck and 26 miles per hour is the top speed and it does not get better closer to north flynn road and it will take you 38 minutes from address to dutch lib and 15 --

5:29. i am kristen sze. eric thomas is off. there are good reasons to get out of bed this morning. meteorologist mike nicco will share some of the ropes. -- reasons. >> job is one. >> i was thinking sunny skies and the whom opener. >> absolutely. the giants are back home after a road trip to star the season. low-to-mid 70's and sunshine today. >> now, right now you can see a few high clouds on live doppler 7 hd. a few low clouds along the coast. that means the high pressure is going to be undercut at the coast into san francisco and you will not be quite so warm as yesterday but, still, above average and sfo without the clouds this will be no flight arrival delays. the first forecast you can see the high clouds and sunshine, 80 to 87 around the bay and from 74 in san francisco to 85 headed to san jose and along the coast, still nice at 67 to 71.

much of the neighborhood is still affected. we are at the san jose and campbell border. nick? fast moving blames and a steady gas leak were a mix to keep the fire bumping for hours. this car is destroyed behind me. and some of the video we shot when we got to the scene show firefighters spending hours pouring water from every angle to put out the blaze. part of the problem was a gas line fueling the fire even after the walls of one of the homes bushed to the ground. the house where the fire started is come completely destroyed and was so big it spread to two other houses. this neighborhood is full of water are called ickler homes and one resident we caught up in the confusion was aware of the danger. >> it is unfortunate. they are nice houses but they not meant to withstand a fire. it is unfortunate. when there is a fire it is a big

welcome back, a hiking trail at yosemite is closed after a massive rock fall. the national park service says no one was hurt march 31 when 16,000 tons of rock fell 500' from a cliff near the reservoir. officials say many boulders tumbled in the water but some crushed trees and destroyed 400' of the trail. the trail will remain closed.
