tonight. good evening, i'm dan ashley. >> now two firefighters are hospitalized, one in serious condition tonight. two trucks collided on brunsswick street at evergreen avenue. >> we just learned names of the firefighters that were injured. the operator, chris baldwin is in serious condition. you can see it's an active scene. a tow truck arrived as well as a second tow truck there are tire parks where it meets crocker. you can see broken glass, evidence markers statered throughout the intersection a third vehicle was damaged.

an inspector told our meeta partner that the cause of the crash is under investigation. angela gruzman told us that she was in her bedroom and heard a loud bang. she ran to see what happened and if anyone was hurt. >> oh, my god i see a lot of blood on his face. and firefighters had to get him. something happened to him. >> now, as angela said, one firefighter suffered headlines and others tried to prevent him from losing consciousness another, she said, looked as if he had broken wrists. a number of people say this is a bad intersection and has been closed all day long.

these allegations come in aftermath of two high profile incidents in less than a year. >> the nurses are members of the service employee union fdiu. they say the under staffing is serious in the emergency room behind me. they say it's happening on every shift. ept 19th, the 57-year-old was admitted to san francisco general hospital with a bladder infection. two days later, she vanished. 17 days after, she was found dead in a stairwell. february 14th a 93-year-old admitted to the hospital with breenling problems she was attacked in the emergency room by another patient, in psychiatric care. two horrific incidents hospital workers say are linked to severe under staffing.
