so far this year, of cases are too many. san francisco main library opened only eight years ago and the building has been plagued with violence, drug use and deplorable conditions it's become a magnet and homeless. >> they started tearing pages out of books and slamming things down. it doesn't happen every day. >> the mayor sent this letter to the city librarian saying he wants to restore the library to a safe place for families, he is spishlly with opening of a new teen center here, next year. >> we're going to welcome more kids and families next year. they wanted to see changes before that opened >> the commission will consider implementing tougher security measures including adding two

investigators. >> california dmv reporting both drivers involved in the fatal tour bus crash had cheen driving records. >> investigators are looking into the possibility the fed-ex truck experienced a mechanical failure. it served across i five thursday, smashing into a tour bus five high school students from southern california, three adults and both drivers died in that crash, west of chico. >> five students are among ten students that lost their lives. among them, one student lifted a window and lifted students to safety. >> a second student will be remembered at a vigil tonight. investigators say everybody on the bus is now accounted for. >> the bus driver killed in the crash was originally from san mateo. she drove sam trance buses until

mill boulevard officers say she attacked them with a bat and officers fired police are not releasing names or the woman at this time. >> another woman facing attempting murder charges in connection with an attempt on a worker in a jack in the box. police say jasmine stabbed the person. >> new details on what happened in a miami hotel where an incident involving collin kaepernick is under investigation. >> a woman told police she ended up in the hospital after kissing him and being in his room. the woman told police there were no allegations of sexual assault. a miami radio station reported

room. >> the mayor in san francisco is celebrating success at central market neighborhood the city adopted a plan to help transform it three months ago the city approved a tax exclusion to attract business. the mayor says there are 18 companies in this area, 17 small businesses as well as eight art convenient use. a spokesperson says this is a change compared to just years ago. >> in 2010, millions of square feet were vacant. the countless efforts to revitalize this area had not been successful. >> the city says central market development generated $8 million in revenue despite tax incentives and added 13,000 jobs in the city. >> the mystery off the san mateo county coast. >> sky 7 was responded to the

san jose firefighters are waiting for a vacant building to cool off it's been 24 hours since flames took it down. >> crews will be searching for

serious charges after grisly discovery the bodies of seven infants found in her carrage the 39-year-old arrested saturday after her estranged husband found the bodies in boxes. police say the pair owned the home, huntsman had not lived there since 2011 she told investigators she gave birth to seven babies over ten years and all but one were born alive. >> i just can't believe that that would happen there. that megan would be capable of such a thing. >> huntsman says she killed the babies after they were born by strangling them, bail has been set at $6 million, $1 million for each baby she's accused of killing. she has three daughters. >> investigators say three people guned down near two jewish community centers this weekend were targets of a hate
