synonymous with racism and islamaphobia. its members connected to hate crimes and mosque bombings. it was tempting to brush the edl aside as racist thugs set fear. but so many ordinary citizens were responding to their message. i had to find out why not only as the a journalist, but as a muslim woman myself. i have spent maybe all of my life here in london. four years i have reported from both the middle east. and here at home. this is a very happy moment for both william and kate. but as i was about to find out, this is the assignment where those world collide. we are in day two of a desperate search for survivors after the sinking of a ferry packed with high school student. it happened off the coast of korea. the sthip whip was heading for break on a resort island. things took a fatal turn, the ferry started listing and water started pouring in. korean coast guard and navy arrived. passengers in the frigid waters, clinging to the railings of the cap sized ship. rescuers worked through the night in hopes of finding passengers trapped underwater in air pockets. strong water currents, forced divers to abandon the mission.
