avenue. nick smith is live with the story. nick? >> it's still creating a mess here in this stretch. just off of highway 13 down to red rock road i want to show you video. this was our camera over the scene. and we were first to seen moraga avenue closed after a pine tree fell on power lines multiple agencies are here on the scene. and an official tells me a small mudslide forced the closure, pg&e has been trying to clear the trees and branch that's took those lines down.

city officials still aren't ready to give a cause for the slide in the first place. east bay mud is telling us they don't have a water main break. they're looking to see what caused it. >> in the last hour an official told me this could be an irrigation leak on private property. right now, they're working to deenergize their lines to make repairs. back here live, you can see crews are working on trees now. the city of piedmont will clear debris. but there is no timetable when this will be finished. if this stretch is part of the commute you need to know it remains close after highway 13 down to red rock road you can see it's blocked. we'll of course have an update at five. >> thank you. >> overseas now, captain of the south korean ferry that sank

this week has been arrested along with two crew members. >> 28 people are known to have died. 270, missing and presumed dead many high school students. the 68-year-old captain is facing charges including criminal negligence. the investigation focused on why the ferry made a sharp turn on a cluster of islands the vines principal of the school was found hanging from a tree in an apparent suicide. the ferry is now submerged. divers have gone inside but have not reported finding any survivors thus far. >> a joint prayer meeting of korean churches will be held for the disaster that will be at the first korean church tonight at 7:00. a 27-year-old woman die offed a suspected drug overdose

abc7 news learned a church worker that says she was sexually abused has been charged. >> the 33-year-old woman worked at st. francis of asasi in north beach. the church says matthews was fired not for reasons she claims but because she stole money. police are investigating that, and now, the new criminal charges against her may shed new height on her credibility.
