drivers recovered the body of the fisherman this evening, near the accident site behind that bridge. that second fish moan's body was recovered. an 18-foot fishing boat floats next to the dock. both men who began their day with dreams of bass are gone. the passenger, in the delta waters. >> the first man missing is a 41-year-old asia male, wearing camo blowing and a blue and yellow vest on. >> the accident happened so fast investigators are trying to determine hour and what happened. but they say alcohol was not a factor. at this point we know the impact knocked the engine off and the boat hit he railroad bridge. >> a pretty loud crash. >> multiple agencies converged on the marina, a -- dangerous

and tricky currents complicated search efforts. the. >> it's very dangerous, and because of the current, undercurrent. >> both fishermen were tossed into the water and both were bearing life jackets. somehow only one surfaces. the survivor was very shaken up. >> a guy i talked to was lucky. he was missing a shoe and a sock. that was it. no scratch on him. he was very, very lucky. >> in brentwood, abc7 news. insen francisco tonight an officer was injured today after being hit by a car driven by an armed robbery suspect. sir -- we're live in san francisco. reporter: right now detectives are still trying to piece together the details of exactly what happened. we know this all started with an armed robbery on the block. somehow or another a gun held by

one of those robbers weapon off, and the bullet went into a home down this street. the robbery and following gunshot happened just after sunrise this morning at 7:00. no one was injured there. but the two suspects sped off and neighbors called 9-1-1. the police quickly spotted them a few blocks away and that's where the street chase began. witnesses of this whole event say they were surprised at what happened. >> really did sound like a car chase. a big crash and the car get going. >> i went back to sleep. thought it was the garbage pick up. >> usually it's a safe haven and seeing that gunshot next door is unsettling. reporter: the chase ended in the sunset district at lincoln and 20th avenue, where a patrol cruiser collided with the suspect car. police arrested the two accused robbers. the officer involved in the crash suffered minor injuries

and was taken to the hospital and right now investigators are trying to decide if those two accused robbers are also going to be charged with assault on a police officer for that car crash. reporting live, abc7 news. four people have been injured after a series of shootings in oakland. the first was this morning. a group of gunmen opened fire on a man inside his car. he was rush to the hospital two other shootings followed. all are expected to live. no one has been arrested. >> the chap chap wants to find the driver who struck one of it overs in san jose. a silver sedan hit a chp car parked on the shoulder around 10:40 last night. two officers were giving another driver a ticket at the time. the sedan's driver hit the first

officer and then knocked down the second officer. >> sometimes they miss their exit. this drive could have been impaired. unnope why they did what they do but could have killed an officer. it's singapore we find the person driving the vehicle. the chp says the injured officer has gone home after being treated and releads. a teenager is dead after investigators say a distracted driver crashed into a group of people. investigators say the 19-year-old driver took her eyes off the road to locate a cell phone. she ran into four kids, ages four to 16. who are walking alongside the road. >> anything like this, that distracts a persons a attention away from the primary task of driving, endangers everybody.
