inland. we will talk about the cool town on top as soon as tomorrow and the possibility of showers ahead. thank you. police are investigating after four men were stabbed at a bar and restaurant early this morning. police were called at 1:30 to a bar in san jose. two of the men were taken to the hospital. police say they have nonlife-threatening injuries. right now police believe an argument led to the stabbings but haven't said what that was all about. all the men know each other, according to police. this morning the contra costa county sheriff's department will continue investigating a deadly boat accident near brentwood. it happened on a place even seasoned boaters say is dangerous. lisa has the details.

scanning the water from her paddleboat. >> it makes it hard for me because i was right there. >> in a restaurant in the marina with where the tournament started there was a moment of silence in honor the dead boater. >> we always worried about something like that because it could be one were my kids, one of my friends, and it doesn't matter who it is, we just care. >> the contra county sheriff's department is investigating. abc7 news. the san francisco police officer injured when his cruiser was hit by a car driven by a suspected armed robber is out of the hospital this morning. this is how he was hurt. the suspect's vehicle and the patrol car collided in the sunset district yesterday morning. >> it really did sound like a car chase. the big crash, and then the car kept on going. honestly, i went back to sleep. i thought it was the garbage pickup. >> the crash ended a pursuit that began with the report of a

woman being robbed of her purse in the richmond district. two suspects, the driver and a passenger have been arrested on charges ranging from driving a stolen vehicle to a felon in possession of ammunition. the highway patrol wants to hear from anyone who saw a driver plow into a hospital late friday night. it happened on 1301 just before 11:00. a silver van veered toward the shoulder and hit the patrol car before striking the officer and driving away. the two officers were giving another driver a ticket at the time. injured officer is recovering. a 14-year-old boy is dead and three teenagers are in the hospital after investigators say a distracted driver crashed into a group of people. it happened early yesterday morning. investigators say the 19-year-old driver took her eyes off the road to locate her cell phone. the chp said she ran into four

fling. lisa argen will be along shortly with the forecast. >> the search continues for missing airline flight 307. an unmanned submarine capable of diving miles under water is making a sonar map of the ocean floor. it's around the location of the last signal searchers think may be from the plane as black box. when the map is done there's no guarantee it will show evidence of the plane and if it doesn't the malaysian government leaders say they will have to expand the search zone again or bring in new tools. crews have not heard any ping necessary the area for ten days now and they fear that means the black box's batteries have died. developing news, south korean officials are collecting dna from family members to help match bodies recovered from the wreck of the sunken body. divers recovered 13 bodies and three others were found floating outside.

the confirmed death toll 49. more than 250 people are still missing, most of them high school students on a holiday trip there. are only 174 no one survives. alex stone has the latest. a fourth day of rescue efforts saved no lives. only more bodies from a watery grave. from the surface of the sea, no visible trace of the ferry or the close to 300 passengers, mostly young students, who went down with it. the bleak search falls to these men, an underwater army of some 650 dialers who have the task of getting into the wreck through the cold, murky water. drivers broke a window to recover three bodies. the goal is to reach the cafeteria where many passengers are thought to have been trapped. this us marine corps aircraft is among those aidth searchers. a third mate was at the ship's

a bay area man is among the survivors. he's of sonoma county about posted this pick yesterday on his blog u see him on the left. he said his guide pushed him out of the way when that avalanche hit. a landslide in wyoming is slowly eating up a resort. the earth is moving an inch a day in the town of jackson. a house has been split in tubing the pavement is buckling. experts are can have kent the mountain side will not suddenly collapse like the washington state tragedy. 42 homes and apartment units have been evacuated. experts say they cannot shore up the earth until it stops moving. crews are trying to keep a 50-foot sinkhole from causing more damage in florida. these are incredible pictures of the sinkhole happening yesterday morning. officials say the hole opened three weeks ago and then was filled. it opened up again because of recent heavy rain.

the woes of buying a home in the bay area. inventory is low, the price is high, the competition among buyers is intense. new findings from data click research shows bay area home prices surged to a median of $579,000 in march. that is a seven-year high. a 23% increase since march of 2013. abc7 news reporter jonathan bloom has the story from redwood stinks how would you like an extra half a million dollars? well, that's what the sellers of this house got. they asked $1.4 million and got nearly $1.9 million. that for a house with holes in the garage wall, outdate sidelines and a lawn that's in need of work. >> the past four to five months has been a market we haven't seen in a very long time. >> the realtor said this is just one example and it has the neighbors shocked. >> it goals me over it was close to $2 million for something that

healthcare.gov. heart bleed puts personal information at risk. it's affecting other popular websites, a well. refunds are on the way to customers who were mistakenly charged thousands of dollars for food. it happened to customers using deportation bit and credit cards at a dell taco in southern california. in one instance the bill was for $5.48 and the customers' account was debited $5,480. sheriff's deputies in sacramento want them to provide them with surveillance video to help fight crime. it would alert law enforcement when private security cameras operate in areas that are of interest in the detectives. the sacramento b reports they can only get footage with a property owner's permission. fremont already has a similar program. up next, just in time for easter, taste testing eggs. 7 on your side's michael finney teams up with consumer reports

it will overspread the bay area with 70s and 80s. still 60s at the coast. sun coming up before 6:30 for a nice sunrise. we should see mostly sunny conditions despite patchy fog trying to sneak into the bay. here's a look at our sutro tower camera where a good vantage point shows how clear it is. gilroy has been clear all night. it's on the cool side at 46. five mile visibility at half moon bay and 50 degrees. it's been pretty cool along the coast with the breezy winds. that will not change today for the most part. we will see some sunshine closer to ocean beach today. 43 in petaluma, 45 santa rosa. waves kicking up as well. and livermore. and fog by fremont this morning. here's emeryville. it is clear right now. winds will be a little bit on the breezy side but it will be a warmer breeze and not quite as gusty as we've had throughout the afternoon hours. so with the sunshine today, a warmer day for those who will be

seem braceletting easter and a chance of showers comes our way late monday into tuesday. much cooler temperatures as soon as tomorrow with thicken clouds and looks like the numbers will be not as warm as we are seeing today. in fact this will being the warmest day out of the next seven days. so an upper level ridge of high pressure builds on in, allowing for sunshine today. that jet stream sending the storm track well to the north and that brings the warmth all around the bay. it should be a nice afternoon, well above average. i talked about the high wave heights and that will continue through tomorrow morning. 13 to 15-foot swells. they are beginning to build, especially up to the north around bodega bay and around monterey bay. ocean beach, always a dangerous place. be careful out there. strong rip currents and the possibility of those sneaker waves today through early tomorrow. so here's a look at the next six days or so. you will notice here comes that chance of showers we've been talking about late monday into tuesday. then behind it temperatures will

there was also a carnival, enter taken meant and a barbecue cook-off. oh barbecue was to raise money for the park department's scholarship funds which helps thoses of san francisco families afford recreation classes and programs. and the cook-off is a competition between the fire and the police department. happening today, clouds are expected to clear out just in time for the sun to shine on the 23rd annual easter parade in san francisco. last year people at the parade had to smile and wave underneath cloudy skies. the easter celebration begins at 10:00 and runs until 5:00. there's an easter bonnet contest at 11:15. all of this starts from 2:00 to 3:00 this average in terms of the parade. it's on union street between goth and fillmore streets. of course, the easter bunny will make a special appearance. up next on the abc7 sunday morning news at six, pope francis celebrates mass at
