number of police are the medical building right next door to her. we've seen people evacuating buildings. we'll continue to bring updates and our coverage continues on twitter on abc7 news bay area. let's go to mary coty. where are you in relation to the activity? >> i'm at our hospital at 1900 sullivan avenue it's several blocks from 1500 south gate. >> what do you understand is going on now? beyond what we've discovered? >> that, i do not know there is a gunman on the premises. you need to confirm that with daly city police. everything i can say is this. shooting occurred this afternoon. at 1500 south gate. that is a seton medical center facility.
