frightening request of students. amy hollyfield is in pleasanton with more on this story. amy? >> parents say they don't fowl like their kids would fall for this but they are going for have a conversation with them. this is happening on instagram and the school district sent out a message to parents saying that some students had received messages on instagram requesting inappropriate pictures of them. the students we talked to say they have not been asked for inappropriate pictures but wouldn't really think twice. >> boat it. >> i would ignore it. i hope others would do the same. >> the school district is getting the word out but this is an investigation. the school district officials are working with police to try to figure out who is sending the requests.

new details san jose state football player has been identified as the student who suffered second-degree buns -- burns on wednesday night at an apartment fire. the martinez native is sedated with burns over0 percent his body. the football coach says that the injuries are limited to his skin but he says that he will probably be in the hospital for a while but he said it is not a matter of "if" but when he runs to the football field. the fire broke out at an apartment complex at south 8th while he was asleep. >> in southern california two middle school students and the bus driver are in critical condition following a bus crash. authorities say that the fast moving bus jumped a curb and rested sideways. the driver had to be cut from the bus and pulled through the windshield. nine other students on the bus suffered minor injuries.

a free dental clinic takes place today and tomorrow at the fair grounds in vallejo, and the california dental association foundation is hosting the clinic that opens at 5:30 in the morning both days and you can get cloning and filling and have teeth extracted. you do not need to bring an i.d. to receive free dental care. >> women will have an alternate to the patch smear to screen for cervical cancer, federal regulators have cleared a test to detect the human papillomavirus that causes nearly all cervical cancer cases. d.n.a. tests have been used to confirm but now the company can market this as a front line screening option. some women's group say this could lead to overtreatment and confusion. >> football players at northwestern will vote on whether to join a union.

the woman is captured in surveillance video taking the toy easter week and went to the police and told officers she took it because she saw a loose dog at the cemetery and didn't want it to destroyed toughed duck found on wednesday when someone threw it on a cemetery road. she was charged with petty theft and is expected in court in may. a south carolina man is facing a host of charges including reckless driving after he led deputies on a chase in georgia that ended in a wild crash. the sheriff released this video. it shows deputies rushing over to rescue the suspect after the jeep rolled and caught fire. one of deputies pulled the man out and investigators say he had $6,400 stuffed in a sock. he was driving in and out of
