76th avenue. no one was home when firefighterred arrived and there were 100 marijuana plants inside. three people leaving the scene were carrying three bags and pg&e crew was called. authorities believe the house has an illegal connection to an electrical line. a report shows a sheriff deputy was driving well over the speed limit when he hit two pedestrians a year ago killing one. according to the report, c.h.p. investigators found the deputy was driving 53 in a 35 miles per hour zone on mission boulevard north of hair last april. he hit two people at 4:30 in the morning. the woman died at the scene. he says the two were not in a crosswalk but a lawyer says they were and did not have lights or sirens on and he was looking for two cars involved in chases early that evening.
