this time on the right charter school playground. it has school district and sheriff's department dealing with a touchy situation. >> they're good kids from good homes in a good neighborhood at the right charter school, trouble creeps in >> they described the phone call as a four inch air soft. >> gun. >> the school district is limited in what it can say. >> any discipline is confidential. >> yesterday, a 9-year-old boy brought the pellet gun on to campus he traded it to a 10-year-old friend who then turned around and began shooting the gun at other students. as many as three were hit by plastic pellets before the school staff took the gun away from him. by morning the sheriff's department was involved they had a meeting with the school district. and parents. >> one child is apparently nine the other is ten. so california state law does not recognize that they have

a terrible tragedies in the skies in the central valley a pair of sky divers collided in mid air in lodi. they started from the lodi airport. now new video tonight just in. according to a spokesman for local sheriff's department the two men collided during a jump one fell to his death, the other suffering minor leg injuries the federal aviation administration has been called in now to investigate investigate. >> crews hope to recover evidence tonight in the mid air collision two of small planes over san pablo bay. searchers believe they have pinpointed location of the plane's fuj lauj divers expected to begin looking for it this evening. >> problem we have is that it's a rather large debris field. and we've located parts of plane. including a wing, a wheel, as well as other smaller parts.

until they found miss storus charges on their pg&e bill. lynn fan tells her daughter about the man in the blue jump suit going door to door here in san pablo >> asking me to show pg&e bill. >> the man told her she can save $2 a month on her bill she signed a form. two months later she saw this. a company she never heard of suddenly appeared on her pg&e bill. >> it's the blue energy to say oh, what happened? >> the bill said she had to pay pg&e $20 for gas delivery ask also blue spruce energy of colorado $38 for gas >> they wanted to talk to me about the gas bill. >> john recall twoz men knocking on doors here in fairfield they told john they can reduce his gas bill, too. he said no thanks. but it didn't end there. >> they said well, will you sign the clip board to show our boss

we talked to you? i said sure. >> he was shocked to following month. a company called spark energy appeared on his pg&e bill. spark charged him $34 for gas. pg&e, $26 to deliver it he claims he was misled into signing up. >> spark said well, there is nothing they can do. and that there is a contract. that it had to abide for a year. >> john and nguyen both contacted 7 on your side. we found there are several suppliers selling gas to residents. customers pay the supplier for gas, and pg&e for delivery. the suppliers say they offer lower rates but also charge daily fees. we found john and nguyen paid more during months they used the suppliers then they would have with pg&e. according to her bill, pg&e could wo have charged nguyen

$27.43 for gas used in december. blue bruce $35.57 for the same gas. about $8 extra. pg&e would have charged john $22.35 for gas in december. spark energy billed him $34. almost $12 extra. both said pg&e rates are higher on average and customers do save money over time. however, the suppliers did agree to cancel the contracts for both chers spark energy telling us after it was brought to our attention he had been misled we quickly remedied the situation. and relieved him of the contract without assessing an early termination fee. spark energy reviewed training and conduct with vendor working in the pg&e territory to ensure staff always adheres to the highest level of conduct. spark also said it charges a fixed rate. that protects consumer rz from pg&e's fluctuating rates saying john's bill would have been

lower in march had he stayed with the company. blue spruce said blue spruce charged our customers a lower rate per therm than the utility in northern california blue spruce makes efforts to make sure all understand services it provides. and the terms of the contract. the representatives wear buttons stating we're not affiliated with the utility. because blue spruce does the require a long term contract and does not charge any cancellation fees. customers are able to switch back to the utility at any time. which, we requested for nguyen. >> 7 on your side helping on our side. >> you bet. now, independent gas suppliers are not regulated by the state public utilities commission. however, that is all about to change. following complaints from hundreds of customers a new law

a question about whether nba picked et right man to succeed david stern commissioner silver handing down stiffest punishment ever. silver banned clippers owner and will now try to force him to sell the team. if it had not been so severe leaders of the players association say they're going to urge their players to boycott playoff games.
