released. you can see the thick smoke in this video. it was a biplane and was anything low to at the ground when it crashed. here's more edges from people who witnessed the crash. witness says two air force personnel tried to rescue the pilot. the air show shut down an the crash. the plane that crashed was owned by a well-known pilot. it is unknown if he was pilot thing plane when it crash. we'll have a live report at 6:00. a circus extent in rhode island sent 11 people to the hospital, including one in critical condition. here's a report. a warning, you may find the

people. nine people were injured, including a dancer on theground. the public safety commissioner says all the acrobats were conscious, a lot of broken bones. we're investigating the cause of this collapse. >> ringling brothers bash barnum and bay lee has canceled performances until the cause of the accident is determined. one alameda county deputy is in the hospital in serious but stable condition after he and his partner were attacked in castro valley. the sheriff's office says a woman called 9-1-1 to report a fight between two men. the deputies confronted the two men, and that's when they attacked. the one who called 9-1-1 turn on the deputies. one officer was punched in the face, the other in a choke hold. >> the incident was recorded on video, and i've reviewed the video, and i can tell you in my many years of law enforcement, it is probably one of the most

violent struggles i have seen an officer go through. >> the fight ends when the deputy, who was punched in the face, was able to tase one of the suspects. the deputy will need facial reconstruction surgery. the two men are charged with attempted murder. all the attackers face assault charges. a rally will be held tomorrow at the same south bay high school where a nationwide controversy erupted four year years ago when some students wore a certain t-shirt. reporter: i'm standing in front of live oak high school, but you'd never it. a large chain-link fence surrounds the entire school in anticipation of rallies on cinco de mayo, all in the name of prespeech. a fiery debate that is heating up against. >> no reps to -- no trespassing signs and large fence surround the school.

died at the scene. he was airlifted to accept rosa memorial hospital with serious injuries and is expected to face charges of felony dui. new details on a vallejo fire that displaced nine people living in a converted garage. firefighters say seven adults and two children were living in the detached garage on lincoln boulevard that caught fire just after 5:00 this morning. one person was treated for smoke inhalation, the red cross is helping the fire victims. flames gutted the garage and caused other damage. the cause of the fire is said to be suspicious because the garage was not listed as hey having electricity. some scary moments after the mayweather -- maidana identifying. spectateyears ran from cover, rushing out of the venue, after some in the crowd thought they that's gunshots. reportedly the nose that caused the scare came from a metal
