mountain view. it's a visit putting him in hot water. he's good going because the store is a model of energy efficiency. but that move is risky. labor unions are critical of the low wages. political watchers don't think it will hurt the president nationally. >> reaction what people in the bay area think about walmart. he's probably making whatever statement he wants to try to make. so it's been broader and played in the bay area. >> the president will be the first sitting u.s. president to visit a walmart store, interestingly enough. the president of the united food and commercial workers international union says the president's visit sends a terrible message to worker as cross america. i invite the president to meet with walmart worker who's can tell him about their struggles. now, if the president is on time, we'll carry some remarks live in san jose later in this newscast.

>> d tech would begin with a freshman class of up to 150 students. to start with, six existing classrooms at mills would be given to d tech. each year, new classes would be added with a full enrollment expected at 500. parents we spoke with wonder what the charter would do to a high school with 1300 students. school district officials say the school has been discussed an half a dozen open meetings. >> there is not a lot of people that come to board meetings. it's not something people perhaps think about. going to. but they are public >> parents say they have nothing against the concept of a charter school they just want the district to stop, talk with a community before signing anything.
