northbound side, that is where we have a solo traffic so the drive could slow down as you try to reach foster city. we have president obama waking up at the fairmont in san jose and when he makes the trip to mountain view around 10:00 to the wal-mart expect to see a motorcade that will cause delays we will look at the oakland maze and the metering lights are turned on early at the toll plaza. >> president obama is aching up in the south bay this morning to wrap up the bay area trip. he will visit a wal-mart store trying to highlight an issue but creating controversy over a different issue. katie marzullo is at the san jose fairmont. >> this is where president obama is waking up. we are seeing the secret service activity at the hotel.

when the president leaves he is headed to wal-mart event and he will be met by protests. there were protesters at the farmer last -- at the fairmont last night to stop the keystone xl pipeline project. at the wal-mart the president will be speaking of energy efficiency. protesters are this from multiple groups. some will show their support for an increase in the minimum wage. employees of wal-mart are excited and at least one, though, says he is missing a point. >> i am upset that president obama doesn't take the time to talk to us to find out what is going on in the store and how we are treated and what we go through. >> there are two organized protests planned. the president is expected to begin the speech at 10:00 at wal-mart. air force one is scheduled to leave moffett field at 10:45 this morning. >> the president's schedule has been packed wins he arrived yesterday in san jose. on thursday, the president attended two fundraisers for the democratic national committee. the second event was at the fairmont hotel co-hosted by marissa mayer. the president was wrapping up the speech to the crowd when he was interrupted by a heckler who said "freedom to ethiopia." >> i want to hear from you. i love you back. you kind of screwed up my ending but that's okay. that that's okay. and we have free speech in this country. >> the event took in 500,000.

frederick berg is running to school. >> now what happens they are trying to bring him back and i heard that the teacher that is in this when my son was slapped took over for him and she was having the kids make paper flowers to come back tomorrow in class and that is crazy. the guy slapped my son in the pace and he is coming back to flowers. i want the guy gone he should not be teaching. >> he says the school is moving the son to another class. the police say the situation is still under investigation. >> in fremont, for abc7 news. the richmond teacher accused of sexually abusing students is due in court for a preliminary hearing. he faces more than two dozen charges which include kidnapping and 11 counts of lewd acts on a child under 14.

killing his girlfriend. sacramento sheriff believe the 5 a-year-old veteran stabbed to death his 26-year-old girl last week. a spokesman said that he has been fired now from cal fire but not because of the investigation. >> he has not showed up for five consecutive work days so he is no longer an employee and has nothing to do with the alleges against him. this isç simply he not showed p for work for five days. >> officials have changed access codes to their facility so fleming cannot enter their facilities. wanted posters are placed of him at the facilities. >> her doctor in arizona, calling a survival a miracle after clinically dead and came back to life after 26 minutes. the woman is recovering from a hospital near phoenix after having a heart attack. she collapsed while working at a dog grooming salon.

wal-mart store in mountain view in a few hours creating some controversy with labor unions. katie marzullo is at the fault in san jose with more on that story. >> president obama has one thing on his agenda: it is not a fundraiser filled with supporters. when he leaves the fairmont hotel this morning and heads to the wal-mart he will be most by professors. when the president is going to the wal-mart in mountain view he will give an energy speech. the wal-mart installed solar panels in 2010 and they say president obama is the first sitting president to visit one of their stores. protests will take advantage of the opportunity. some energy-related protesters. they will talk about greenhouse gas emissions and rally for an increase in the minimum wage. employees are mixed, in say they love their jobs and other say they not paid enough.

enough to investigate. a follow-up, the mayor of san mateo but also works in alameda d.a. tweeted me after seeing our story run this morning and he now says his office will be investigateing. >> police are looking for a plan who used a stolen identity to steal a flatbed trailer in petaluma. we were sent this picture of the man who got a flatbed trailer from a rental company and never round it and it is briefed he pulled the same stunt in oakland and southern california. he may be drive this truck with a catcher shell on it, so if you recognize the suspect or the truck, call petaluma police. >> a tree trim are accused of killing baby birds at an east bay post office says he screwed up. the man from bay point is apologizing for what happened and says when he realized birds inharmed he called the international bird rescue and offered to pay for the care of the surviving birds.
