homes were smashed. san jose city council has decided to delay a vote on whether to stiffen the rules for marijuana disexpenseries after several hours of pleas last night from supporters and opponents of pot clubs. the city council members need more time to review the information presented to them and plan to vote next week. business owners say they are a nuisance and drive customers away. medical marijuana supporters fear that the new rules will drive the clubs out of san jose entirely. happening today, california lawmakers could take a big step to a statewide ban on plastic grocery budgets. the senate natural resources committee votes on a bill to phase out single use plastic bags in grocery stores and pharmacies in july of 2015 and would expand to liquor and convenience stores the following year. vilists say they pollute waterways and harm wildlife. the plastic bag industry has launched a tv ad campaign
