scientists will descend on a san mateo beach to figure what led to the death of a baby whale. crowds could gather to see the humpback on shore where matt keller joins us. matt? >> kristen, this sad to see but a lot of people do want to see it, with sheriff deupties stopped on the side of highway one to get a look at the young humpback that washed on the problems next to the r.v. park. it appears to be 20' to 25' long. scientists will be here to assess the dead whale. they do not know what the next move is until they get out here and check it out. several beach combers spotted the dead wail floating at half moon bay 3:00 yesterday afternoon in front of sam's chowder house and drifted to the r.v. park. >> everyone in the r.v. park was concerned about where it would

end up and how it would smell up the place or whatever and everyone was stopping on the side of the road and it became an event with a couple of hundred people watching. marine maymon center -- marine mammal center is working and the situation and it is not clear how they get to the whale. it is rocky here. the harbor master says it is their responsibility to dispose of the whale so they will likely tow it out to sea but it is unclear if they will take it to a location so scientists can take a look. we have noticed the whale has started creeping south and has gone several feet off the shore here so there is a good chance the whale could be moving down the shore so scientists will have to deal with that reality this morning.

this morning a 25-year-old woman is describing her ten year ordeal at hand of a kidnapping. a story of rain, imprisonment and forced marriage. katie marzullo is in the newsroom. she spoke to our sister station in los angeles? >> she did. the victim had a baby with the man she says kidnapped her when she was a teen. for 10 years she lived in fear. this morning, the woman and her daughter are at home with her mom and sisters. the 25-year-old was raped repeatedly for a decade and beaten when she tried to escape. police say she was brain washed. show was only 15 when she was taken from her family. she only was living in the united states for six months. talking to our sister station in los angeles, she said that her neighbors were totally in the dark. >> my neighbors, my neighborhood and the other people they know us think he was a great man
