>> tension royceing tonight after this deadly police shooting. protestors are demanding answers. >> while the department promises a full investigation. good evening. >> this police shooting has really touched a nerve. >> of it has. alan is live outside salinas police headquarters with the story. alan? >>reporter: community pressure is mounting so much here that police felt they needed to address the situation. now we are not going to show you video of the actual shooting. but the images leading up to it are enough to show how it all went down. >> we want justice. we want justice. >>reporter: anger over the police shooting death of carlos has spilled out on to the streets of salinas. earlier today police responded to amateur video showing officers shooting him several times this past tuesday is video of the officers following him down the street. yelling commands at him while he waves garden

under in salinas against police brutality. in salinas, abc 7 news. >> we are following developing news in the east bay. hayward police are investigating a shooting tonight. it happened just before 6 at winton avenue and this boulevard. victim was in the car when the shooting happened and that led to this crash. search for the shooter brought police to a house one block south. officers called in back up and searched the property with rifles drawn. they detained one man inside but not said if the person is a suspect. >> police searching for for man who assault add jogger in livermore. happened last friday at robertson park. victim running on a bike path when she was grabbed from behind and groped. she was able to break free and thank goodness. there have been at least 8 other similar attacks in the area in the last several years. >> cal fire crew had to use a who want tore rescue a hiker stuck near morgan hill. operation was dangerous from the star. you can seat rescue young woman twirling and dragging across the jagged rock

here. hikers became stuck halfway up the face of anderson reservoir dam. crew help 2 other hikers to the top of the dam. they needed a helicopter to help lower this woman to safety. the 3 were fieldhool field trip from gilroy. cal fir says the area is off limits to hikers. >> happening now. key section of south bound 280 in san francisco shut down tonight. south bound on ramp plus king and mariposa street are closed. along with south bound 280 almost to the 101 split. it happened at 9:00 o'clock tonight. this is video of that closure. crews removing a major hinge that holds 2 paces of concrete near caesar chavez street. they have to demolish enough of the concrete to get to that hinge then replace it with one that is 4 times the size of the old one. cal-trans says the hinge was damaged by too much stress maybe from earthquake and the work is due effected the section of 280 built in the 1960's. the time for update. >> giants back in town this
