the man who was hit was pinned under the car and taken to the hospital. they do not know if he is going to survive. police got the call at 3:25. the driver and the passenger were still on the scene. the passenger is right this on the curb. the driver is in the back seat of the police car. it took a while to get him there he was belligerent and resisted arrest. it is believed he has been drinking. this is at geary and 24th at a chevron gas station. police are still here investigating. they don't know if the man is going to make it. he was not in good shape. they do believe they will investigate this as if it is a fatal accident. it is 4:30. a bay area high school is planning a vigil to honor one of the victims of the deadly rampage in isla vista.
