>> good afternoon, everyone, i'm larry beil >> i'm kristin zee. we begin in the developments in the case against brian chamberlain, arrested yesterday at chrissy field following a three-day manhunt and raid on his knob hill apartment. court documents say agents found a bag there, loaded with four things needed to make an ied. >> those four things were a power source, wire conductors, a switching mechanism and some sort of explosive. tiffany wilson joining us live now in san francisco.

tiffany? >> during that hearing today, the government tried to get this complaint sealed but the judge did not fully comply, and inside of the document details of a device that could maim, or kill. brian chamberlain appeared in court today wearing the same clothes he failed to look at friends and family who gathered in support, and afterwards, they refused to speak the complaint is filling in details neither the fbi nor san francisco police offered during a press conference this morning. >> he is in custody. this remains an ongoing investigation. >> the document describes the meeting between fbi agents and chamberlain saturday, alleged confirmed knowledge of the network used by people who want to hide online activity, then drove off. the complaint says agents searching the apartment found a messen ger bag with what appears

to be components for an ied. a screw-top glass jar filled with batteries and a powdery green substance. a model rocket motor, an electric match. ball bearings and screws believed to be intended projectiles. a wire from a jar to the let and a remote controlled receiver. the fbi believes it was designed to maim, or kill. that has his neighbor upset. . >> i was home the entire time this happened. no tried to contact any one. >> the complaint alleges additional components were inside now, everything must go to an fbi lab for testing. chamberlain faces up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine in convicted his family is offering support saying i love you and will help no matter what.

investigators believe there is a feud between their families. she is set to make a court appearance on friday. >> homicide investigators in san jose hope that $220,000 rewards will help them solve two unrelated killings from last year. 17-year-old anthony daniel santa cruz stabbed to death near san jose high school and a 20-year-old justin watkinsv: sh to death june 26th. both murders3w remain unsolved. police and countyç district attorney hope that the reward money will encourage anyone with information to come forward. >> a traffic rush in novato knocked out power to 700 pg&e customers. officers say around 1:25 a van lost control on alameda dell prado, slamming into the power pole and rolled down a hill a small fire was extinguished and traffic blocked during the response, all lanes are open now. part of alameda delprado will be

detainees leaders say they'll not look away from misconduct if it occurred in connection with bergdahl's capture. this is a growing controversy over his his release. >> bowe bergdahl remains in a medical facility in germany. but here in the u.s., controversy is growing. senator john mccain, a former prisoner of war blasted the obama administration for the deal it made with the taliban to bring bergdahl home. >> we applaud he is home. it is ill founded and a mistake and it is putting the lives of american service men and women at risk. >> and stunning accusations from bergdahl fellow soldiers who say he's no hero. . >> i feel like he deserted us. you he knew what he was doing. it was thought out. >> within the first two months
