construction is picked up but leaves us with major backups. in san jose homicide are still on the scene after being called this morning after the body of a man was found in the street with visible injury. the initial investigation was treated like a hit-and-run accident but that is changed. police are canvassing the neighborhood for evidence and witnesses to figure out how the man died. >> friends and family of a young woman shot to delegate by a san mateo county deputy are demanding justice after a vigil to remember her. amy hollyfield is at half moon bay. the family is questioning why the deputy shot can killed her and wondering if he really had to do that. 100 people came together last night for a vigil in her memory. friends and family are guard and reserving but, also, angry

this is a homicide investigation starting a few hours ago and police are at scene right now all happening in south san francisco and matt keller has been talking to investigators and he joins us. what have you learned, matt? homicides detectives are 300 yards ambassador and they have not come to any conclusions how he was killed. he was found lying halfway on the sidewalk and halfway on the street after 1 ok this morning unconscious and not breathing with significant injuries. speculation initially had this as a hit-and-run accident with marks found the roadway but they have backed off from that conclusion and are waiting for the coroner. >> he was lying face down. had could be other injuries giving us an indication of what
