conference in front of city hall. she wanted to he show everyone she is at work today and she wanted to insist she was not on her cell phone. here is cell phone video taken by a witness showing she did stick around the accident. she told us this morning she is a little sore and the driver of the other car told us yesterday that she had back pain and police say that woman did take herself to the hospital. that driver also says that the mayor was on her phone at the time of the crash. and that the mayor ran a red light and caused the crash. and a couple of other witnesses told the same story. the mayor is accuse -- has been accused twice recently of being on her phone while driving. there are pictures of her on the phone that surfaced with social media. but she said he yesterday she was not on her phone. >> i want to say very clearly, the i learned my lesson the week

before. i was on on my phone. my phone records will show that. we have submitted them to the police department. we will let the police department do its investigation. it normally takes about a week, so hopefully we will get results from that. >> when asked if she ran a red light yesterday, she said, she didn't believe so. but she's going to let police investigation sort that out. also surfacing today, the mayor has been convicted of running a red line before. there are reports it happened last april in 2013. we asked the mayor about that this morning. she said yes it was more after rolling stop through a stop sign and it was captured on camera. oakland police just put out an e-mail moments ago about what happened yesterday. but the department did not assign blame only saying that it is investigating what caused yesterday's crash. live in oakland, abc 7. >> amy, thanks very much.

oakland police are investigating an accident in which a pedestrian was hit by one of their officers. it happened about 10:30 last night on international boulevard. that person was crossing the street when it happened. they were taken to the hospital after complaining of pain. the officer was not responding to call when it happened. there are a series of hit and run accidents in downtown san francisco last night. a driver hit two pedestrians, a muni bus, parked cars and even a building. this happened about 8:30. one of the pedestrians suffered life threatening injuries. police found the driver's abandoned car a few blocks away. police tracked the registration back to a hayward man. they took him into custody. he is charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors. >> one of the teenagers used of using stolen credit cards to

rent a million dollar car and rent a home is charged with four felonies. he and a 19-year-old friend rented a mccleron sports car and $12 million vacation home in sonoma valley. the car was reported stolen. holloway is held $100,000 bail. >> fire broke out at about 3:30 this morning at the dry clearers near hudson street and 3rd avenue. it spread to a nearby construction site before crews got it under control. the owner of a nearby deli came out to see if his business had any damage. fortunately no one was injured. take a look, you can see a helicopter making a water drop east of boulder creek. this video was posted on facebook by a nearby resident. the slow-moving fire burn bed a

authorities say the gun-toting duo might have been white supremacists on a mission to kill police. >> reporter: two police officers shot to death sunday while having lunch at a pizza restaurant in las vegas. investigators say a man and woman neighbors describe as militant white supremacists were behind the ambush. >> took the officer's weapons and ammunition from them on the way out the door and made a statement, something to the effect of, this is a revolution. >> neighbors say the suspected killers, a couple in their late 20s, openly talked about their plan to kill police. >> they were going to kill as many officers that they can and do away with themselves. and they actually put a statement to the government about the cops and wanted to get rid of as many as they can. >> killing officers beck and

new details this morning in a the crash that seriously hurt comedian and actor tracy morgan. the wal-mart trucker who caused the crash made his first appearance today. prosecutors say he hadn't slept for more than 24 hours before the accident. morgan is still critical but is improving after surgery yesterday. he suffered several injuries including broken ribs, broken leg and broken femur. one of his good friends died. morgan is expected to be in the hospital for several weeks. >> still no definitive answer from hillary clinton on whether she is officially running for president in 2016. diane sawyer sat down one on one with mrs. clinton to push her on the issue in an abc exclusive.
