forest. his parents are hoping he's going to be okay. >> police arrested a 50-year-old woman thought to be behind nine suspicious fires this morning. they were small they broke out within minutes of each other, investigators say the fires are dangerous because of temperatures and conditions >> firefighters had a hard time battling blaze because of the heat in the east bay. the fire started in a pile of trash next to a house under construction. saying lane and spread to attic and firefighters got it under control. two firefighters needed treatment because of the temperatures because it got over 100 degrees today >> warm for us we're thinking about changing guys out to keep them fresh. a lot of rehab and water

going around. photos and videos being held hostage for ransom the hackers asking for $20 to unlock the device. two weeks ago iphone owners reported phones hacked and held for ransom. >> unbelievable. >> now, to chile. a man is recovering after a moment in a run away elevator. the 31-year-old can be seen getting into the elevator and this starts malfunctioning. it rises before the doors have closed. the elevator starts soaring up to the 31 floor at 50 miles per hour. he could be seen there pushing buttons. it did stop. 15 seconds later. it crashed into the roof. he suffered serious injuries but is ultimately expected to be okay. that took place in santiago chile and eight hours north a base jumper risked his life to
