located the victim in 10' of the front door. the victim was deceased. they proceeded to fight the fire and knock it down in 20 minutes. a few minutes ago i spoke with one of the neighbors in the mobile home park and they told me they could see huge blames and thick smoke. she says she knew the owner of the home and his name was mike and he was a nice guy who lived alone and he had a cast on his foot and that may have contributed to mobility issues. we are working to speak with the fear investigators. crews continue their overhaul investigation because they are searching for hotspots and will stay on the scene because the body is in the unit. that is part of their official investigation will. san jose police are investigating the 19 the homicide this year. last night officers responded to

this morning a belmont man is recovering from a painful snake bite. the 74-year-old man was bending down to pick up a tool in the garage at the top of the avenue when the 3' long rattlesnake bit him. it was coiled and hiding under his chest. can you see the bite open his swell were happened. >> he thought it was a spider and he heard a rattle. he thought, oh, no. >> we get rattlesnake calls occasionally but i cannot recall the last time we had anyone bitten by a snake. medics rushed him to the hospital for treatment while firefighters killed snake. he is expected to go home in the next day or so. rattlesnake bites are rare although they are native to the region. trading is underway on wall street which is up less than a
