the life changing >> a very relieved father, his daughter found safe after disappearing in the marin county wilderness for nearly 24 hours. good evening. i'm katie in for ama dates tonight. the girl was on a multi-state road trip with her family when she wandered away from their camp site in marin county. sergio is live in the newsroom with details. >> she had been missing a little less than 20 hours and in that time the sheriff's department says 9-year-old ida roth child covered lots of ground. two bicyclists discovered her two miles from where her family was camping. she spent much of the day sleeping after a very long night.

>> she spent hours in the dark forest alone, but eye do roth child is with her family. >> i am extremely grateful this father's day that i continue to have my wonderful daughter. >> they had been staying at a cabin for most of the day as space for the family to reset after the frantic search. this evening we saw them load into their mini-van and drive out of the park. ida was found in the morning by a pair of area bicyclists. they declined to be identified. the two women recently moved into the area. according to the marin county sheriff's department they decided to go on a morning ride to see if they might spot her and they both did. >> they saw and heard eye do calling for her mom up on the hillside just a short distance away. >> people from across northern california mobilized within hours to help in the search. by friday night more than 200 were combing through samuel taylor state park.

confirmation that the officer was wounded by the gunfire. >> all three people #r expected to recover after being airlifted to a trauma center in the sacramento area. >> new at 11:00, a driver died after a car rammed into a pole in sonoma. it happened at arnold drive around 6:30 p.m. live wires fell down after the crash. firefighters had to wait about 45 minutes to reach the victim and that's because pg&e had to first turn off the power. new at 11:00, a woman walked away without injuries after smashing her car into a san francisco coffee shop. it was just before 9:00 that the woman drove her car into phil's coffee on barry street. the store closed an hour before the accident. phil himself showed up to check out the damage and talk to the woman. he told us he is just glad no one was hurt. a driver went to the hospital after getting into a crash a policend police car. it happened at 40th street and telegraph avenue around 10:00 this morning.

police say the officer was heading to back up another officer. the officer was not injured, but the other driver complained of some pain. a u.s. aircraft carrier is being moved from the northern arabian sea to the persian gulf as president obama considered possible military options for iraq. this as jihadists close in on baghdad. michelle franson has the latest. >> thousands across baghdad and southern iraq took up arms marching and waiving guns and flags. they answered an urgent call to defend their country against islamic militants. a group of fundamental lists who have over run the large parts of northern iraq and closing in on the capital. baghdad is bracing for an attack, but the fighters of the easy law america state of iraq and syria are known and the u.s. labeled them terrorists. the dramatic gains made by the jihadist fighters plunged iraq into the vicious sectarian
