normal this morning as a store after a glitch forced long lines at checkout. another black eye for the retailer still struggle since the massive hack attack. nick? good morning, target admits there was a problem but not until athey were called out on social media starting yesterday afternoon customers reported long lines and downed registers. immediately they put target on blast and posted pictures. we got the pictures. look at this photo taken by a customer in st. paul. the glitch was across the united states with long lines reported in southern california, salt lake city, chicago, dallas and san diego. this sparked con foundation -- confusion and frustrated many. >> they said this was a problem with the system. she was reboot the register. while she was rebooting that,

she went to the register behind me and bouncing between registers trying to get the people out. target insists the computer glitch is in no way related to the security breach last year. company responding by twitter to the customs releasing this statement "we have identified a checkout issue at select stores. the how is not related to security. it is being resolved. we apologize to those impacted." this has been six months after target admitted they had a security breach involving credit card numbers and of 70 million customers. authorities are on the scene of a fire in san rafael that could being work of an arsonist.

authorities. see if it is related to a small grass fire that broke out yesterday along highway 101 in novato. friday's fire grew to 15 acres and was close do burning 100 homes. it has multiple points of origin leading them to suspect arson. amy hollyfield will have more on the investigation coming up in 30 minutes. >> four people are out of the their home this morning after a two-alarm fire at a san francisco apartment building and it broke out, outside a building before 12:30 this morning on ellington avenue. officials in central california are working to knock down a wildfire threatening 1,000 homes which is burning 30 miles north of bakersfield in the national forest and now is at 2,000 acres. two homes have been destroyed. residents in one area are advised to evacuate.

and showed mitchell knocking over martinez from the wheel change and kicking him. mitchell has been fired and faces child abuse charges. the other guard is on leave. >> california legislature is sending the governor a new state budget today. it would take effect july 1. lawmakers passed the $156 billion budget last night. it was hours before the constitutional midnight deadline $108 billion is the general pound and the rest is bonds and money for specific programs including educational programs for children and $1.6 billion for the rainy day fund and paying down the long-term debt. $264 million is spent for preschool and day care for low-income families that will cough half of all four-year-olds. the budget includes $250 million from the captain trade greenhouse gas fund for the high-speed rail. team u.s.a. will take to the

a new medical study suggests caffeine could have a bigger impact on girls than boys. university buffalo researchers say caffeine has a bigger effect on the heart rate and blood pressure girls especially during certain fadeses of their menstrual cycle and they find that children are drinking more caffeine than they used to.
