respond any effort necessary to pursue terrorists who harm united states citizens. for some, justice has taken too long. >> the attack at embassy in benghazi, libya, 9/11, 2012 was overwhelming. it was concluded 60 people with ties to al-qaeda attacked the consulate while the ambassador steven was inside. he and these others were killed no suspects have been arrested, captured or killed. the suspected leader, khattala was captured in libya in a law enforcement operation involving special forces and the f.b.i., a special team of united states interrogators questioned him in an attempt to get intelligence. this arrest comes after the obama administration and the state department headed by hillary clinton endured criticism from the lawmakers and the public for failing to calm anyone involved. journalists have done face-to-face interviews with khattala but the u.s. government has not been able to find him

live in fremont for abc7 news. ought c.h.p. is asking those who may have witnessed a hit-and-run accident on westbound 580 to come failure. it took place at 11:25 yesterday morning west of grant line road and left a 25-year-old woman with major head injuries. c.h.p. says the woman was in a toyota pickup and was hit by a dark-colored vehicle going about 80 miles per hour. the impact sent the woman's pickup across several lanes before rolling down an embankment. >> happening now a committee will vote on a prepared law to toughen punishment for juveniles convicted of sex crimes requiring a mandatory two-year sentence for juveniles convicted of assaulting unconscious or disabled victims. the law is named after 15-year-old audrie pott a student at saratoga high school who committed suicide after being sexually assault asked her ordeal exposed on social media teens received 30 to 45 days in

contracts go at the stadium. according to our media partner, the mercury news, what happened is the 49ers say they are changing the way they handle their contract bidding process to include more diverse workforces. last april, a civil rights group sent an open letter to the 49ers accusing them of shutting out minority-owned firms when they were handing out contracts. the 49ers say after receiving the letter, the team order the main contractor to re-open bids on johns that had not started. that opportunity led to a black-owned firm winning a multimillion dollar contract to provide all the furniture for the stadium. some have praised the changes, a san francisco lawyer for civil right said that even after the negative publicity he estimates that minority firms only received 2 percent of those contracts. the team and top contractors are quoted in the paper as explaining how some were left out of the process saying the possibility of hosting super bowl 50 led them to rush the
