so anyone who wants to watch the hearing in washington, dc can come to the embassy suites in burlingame and watch it here. we will learn a lot about what the ntsb believes happened last july at sfo and the meeting is happening in washington and it starts at 6:30 our time and they will determine the probable cause of the crash, who or what was at fault and what can be done on stop it from happening today. 291 passengers were on the flight when it hit the seawall, and three passengers died and 180 others were injured. board members will discuss what they think caused the crash and issue recommendations. issues raised by the crash include hesitancy to abort a landing when his are wrong orchialgia can't -- when his actions are questioned about the pilot.

on abc7 news. also, you mentioned this started at 6:30 and we will stream this for you live and you can see it on abc7news.com. new this morning, check correct police say a 51-year-old man is under arrest after he broke into an apartment and stabbed a neighbor in the leg with a screw driver. that is the allegation. he was booked on charge of burglary and say salt with a deadly weapon. he was leaving an apartment complex on civic drive last night when a neighbor tried to stop him the someone passing by saw what was happening and called 9-1-1. the neighbor suffered minor injuries. >> police are hoping the public can identify a burglar caught on video, this is surveillance video of the crime police say the suspect want into a garage and stole a valuable bicycle and was wearing a head lamp and dressed in all black. this happened on harper lane after 4:00 on sunday morning.

will vote today on a gun violence restraining order bill. the bill was actually dropped last year but revived after shootings last month. 22-year-old elliot rodger killed six people including three uc santa barbara students from the bay area before taking his life. family and friends of someone would threat weres to harm others can contact law enforcement and have their guns taken away or prevent them from buying new guns. his parents tried but failed to get help before the killing spree of their son. >> officials will decide whether to pass a moratorium in santa clara to prevent more medical marijuana dispensaries from opening. the goal is to give the county time to develop regulations before anymore dispensaries go into business. four of five supervisors need to approve the moratorium to pass. >> now at look at the forecast.

independent investigators is looking into the stunning claims that a little girl was supposedly asked to leave a kfc vaunt because her face was too frightening. a mississippi newspaper is now report that the whole thing was a home. the family of the three-year-old has received more than $135 cash and gifts and free surgery offers and sympathy since she was scarred by a pit bull and allegedly asked by a fhkfc employee to leave the restaurant but there are reports they were not at kfc the day this happened. kfc pledged to give $30,000 to the medical bills regardless of the outcould investigation. >> now texas a jogger would found the kidnapped baby says she is no hero, just lucky. she decided to go jog for the first time in her life yesterday
