story. amy? >> the news comes as a reheave to construction sites like this one targeted during the christmas spree. san francisco police released video of the man they thought was doing this, from surveillace cameras in the area. last night, they made an arrest. they have not said how they track him down, who he is, on what his motive could have been. police and fire created a task force to focus on the fires that have been happening all this month. there have been fires at construction sites and newly built high tries with no one hurt and the damage has been put into the tens of thousands. we are picketing police to release more information today so stay with us. >> crews put out a fire before

covering santa rosa, berkeley san jose and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. look at this massive water leak, when a vehicle landed into a fire hydrant and the water was spewing up to 30' into the air last night. the broken hydrant soaked the street but no one was hurt. >> every drop of water is important so why was water leaking and leaking and leaking in view for a week in san jose? until our reporter started asking questions. here is his story. >> water has been bubbling out from under the willow glen neighborhood street and brian johnson says he reported the
