has been busy. right now we are going to take you over to 280 in the southbound direction as you come up to highway 92 we have debris if lanes and that is block one lane. you could see a slight bit of a slow down as c.h.p. has to come out to do a traffic break. talk about slow, tracy to dublin is 43 minutes in the westbound direction from antioch to concord and san rafael to san francisco southbound 101 is 18 minutes because of fog and the trillion toll plaza shows metering lights turned on you can see the traffic is heavy from the east bay. >> three hours to game time the fans in the bay area are glued to their tv and tablets and smart phone this morning as team u.s.a. faces germany. nick is if san jose where the fans are gearing up for the matchup. >> absolutely, they have started to put up the barricades and the game starts at 9:00 a.m. and

was planned unless the city can raise $24 million in private donations. the "san francisco chronicle" reports that cost overruns have added $300 million to the costs of the $1.9 billion project. money that was to go to build the rooftop park goes to construction of the four story bus terminal and underground train station. we the project officials expect the park to be phased in. this morning, caltran is alerting drivers to another closing of northbound highway 101 to downtown closed over the julyup and it will be similar to the closing of the southbound lane over the memorial day week. a hinge on a bridge has to be replaced to make it safe. the work will take four days to complete and the freeway will close at 9:00 on when night and it is scheduled to re-open on monday morning july 7.

oakland mayor quan says the city will meet with the a's today to firm up a reported deal to keep the team in oakland. the owner says that the club agreed on a 10-year lease extension with the coliseum authority but it is not quite a done deal. it still has to be approved by the city. the mayor says oakland wants to keep the team and baseball in the east bay and they were still negotiating and were surprised by the announcement of the agreements. >> a trail date is set in hate crimes case against three former san jose university students accused of taunting the black. roommate. the three students will stand trial on december 1 on charges of misdemeanor battery with a hate crime enhancement. santa clear prosecutor says they subject their roommate to racially motivated bullying. a defense attorney called this politically motivated.

two of the three is been expelled from the california state university system. a bill that makes it easier for california school districts to fire or punish teachers accused of misconduct is law. california governor jerry brown signed the bill yesterday that will allow school districts to expedite the discipline process for teachers who committed serious misconduct such as sexual abuse, and child abuse, and certain drug crimes. the bill was authored by johnny -- joan buchanan and protects safety of students. >> ground fogging continues in the south bay after mosquitoes testified positive for the west nile virus in san jose and campbell. crews will spray at 11 o'clock tonight in the area surrounding fruit detail and lee avenue. the mosquito control says officials will be back tomorrow and saturday to make sure there are no infected mosquitoes left.

empty so that is good news. the lanes are blocked. expect delays. we have developing news and we should learn more about the man in custody this morning in connection with a series of recent arson fires in san francisco. police arrested the suspect last night. amy hollyfield is in the south of market area with more. am ay? >> announcement of the arrest is a relief to construction workers on sites that have been targeted. san francisco police released surveillance video on tuesday of the man they believed was set the fires and last night they made an arrest. they have not said how they tracked him down or who he is or his motive but the police department and the fire department created a task force to focus on the fires that been happening all this month. there have been fires at construction sites and newly build high-rises in sonoma area which has the area on high alert.

whether you are just joining us or headed owe the door, number one, we have a major truck citizen long southbound 680 and northbound 680 through walnut creek with multiple lanes blocked in both directions and already we seeing a huge jam up of traffic as you leave the pleasant hill area to make it to walnut creek in the southbound direction, those are the tail lights. in the northbound direction, heavy delays coming up from highway 24, and north main secret is going to be the only alternate. a dirt hauler or dump truck traveled in the northbound lane and it overturned and landed in the southbound direction. we understand there are other vehicles involved and no word as to there there are any injuries but that is a possibility and thissing is alert is going to be in affect for quite some time with the multiple lanes blocked and it is going to be a huge jam for the morning commuters in the area and plans are on the scene in addition to the fire department and c.h.p. and other
