investigation. >> i got on twitter and put a tweet and i said, we are looking for this person, you may have video involved in a crime. >> the response to the san mateo county received after asking anyone with information come forward was overwhelming. >> amazingly, in minutes, everyone was re-tweeting it and i checked the numbers today with followers it went out to 100,000 people. >> 22-year-old woman was arrested after police say she assaulted two caltrain employees. seriously injuring one. a woman replied with a link that shows the confrontation that was captured open video and posted on instagram. >> people reached out to us. >> look at this scene. the confrontation started on the train and moved to the platform. san mateo county sheriff say the conducters are trying to get the woman, who appeared drunks east train at 8:30 on saturday night. can you see her hitting the

conductors with a backpack. the miami conductor pushes her and she falls on to the sidewalk. >> we got more than one video and people who were there and didn't know they looking for witnesses. >> the suspect was arrested for assault. it is the first time they have used social media to slicist information. >> for crime solving purposes, it was perfect. >> the suspect was not justly injured but the female caltrain operator was hospitalized with a mild concussion and released yesterday afternoon. >> that is correct you, we have breaking news from san francisco this morning where a person has died in a possible hazardous materials situation. police say they were doing a welfare check and they found a man dead in his home. they still have in word on what has been found at the home to trigger haz-mat concerns.

residents have been evacuated from the building at 43rd avenue that now is closed between geary boulevard and clement street. >> part of interstate 780 is shut down. two vehicles were involved in a crash on 780. it is a terrible scene east of glen cove this morning at 9:00. c.h.p. section one driver made an unsafe late change and that caused the crash. one person suffered moderate injuries. we are awaiting more information. >> san francisco police are searching for the driver of a car that crashed into cliff's variety store. this mercedes smashed into the store shortly after 4:00 this morning. the witness said a passerby helped the driver get out of the car. the driver was dazed and ran out.

health of women who are employed by the companies. >> minority leader 19 employees agrees treating the supreme court of the united states took an outrageous seven against women's right setting a precedent that permits we corporations to choose which laws to place. legal analysts say no one should overreact, saying don't overread hobby lobby, the court makes clear women can get coverage and it is not opening the door wide to religious planes. >> hobby lobby has 500 stores and employs 15,000 people with locations in antioch, concord, and morgan hill. the supreme court upheld the california law that bans counseling in converting sexual orientation of gay members. a group challenged the law saying it violated the free speech license of licensed counselors and patients but the 9th circuit court of appeals agreed with lawmakers that efforts to change sexual

orientation were outside the scientific main treaty and have been rejected for good own reason. the supreme court justices let the ruling stand. >> the supreme court also refused to hear the case of a local oyster farm facing cloture and did not comment but let left in place rulings against drake's bay oyster company that operates on the point reyes national seashore. the secretary declined to renew the lease when it expired in 2012 says the water of the area should be returned to wilderness status. >> san mateo county sheriff is warning the community about an increase in burglaries in the area. they have taken place throughout the peninsula, south of highway 92. investigators say the burglaries enter through unlocked doors, ones and garages and most of them knock on the front door first to make sure no one is home. ought criminals can be opportunists and they will go and look for the easy access house and they will burglarize

>> we are breaking news from israel. tv stations are reporting that three israeli teens kidnapped in the west bank have been found dead. large numbers of directly forces have moved into the west bank as part of a search for the teaches. the teens were kidnapped early this month and have not been heard from since. israel accused members of hamas of being behind the an dictions. >> a passenger on a united airlines flight from chicago to orange county said it was the scary flight after an emergency flute deployed in midair. the passenger tweeted this photo of the slide filling the back of the 737 last night. the pilot declared an emergency and diverted to wichita, kansas, where the plane touched down safely. no one was hurt, but nerves were rattled. >> we heard a "pop," and looked

covering daly city, dublin, los gatos and all the bay area this is abc7 news. >> this morning, after several high profile problems with police radios and emergency phone systems over the past few years, the city of oakland is taking the wraps off of a new 9-1-1 system that is supposed to be faster and more reliable. amy hollyfield has more. >> they have a new renovated 9-1-1 center. oakland is still one of only cities in california that cannot accept 9-1-1 calls from cell phones. here is a look need at the new from and what they do have. city officials remain proud to announce dispatcherring have ergonicalling correct work stations and they can all see. before they had to walk over to the one laptop to see spot shotter so this is now much easier to see and they can communicate what they see to the officers who are on the streets.

the mayor says this is all a long were time coming. >> the 9-1-1 center, our communication center has been one of the theys we have wanted to work on. if we had not improved the technology nor a decade and all of us are on old equipment from cell phones to different reporting devices so you can imagine the changes that have ice tannen place. >> the new center is not accepting cell phone calls. those will still go through the c.h.p. because they don't have the staff to handle the increased number of cells that cell phones create. they have ten job openings in oakland for dispatcher. the mayor says the project costs $750,000 and said it was on budget and on time. >> thank you, amy. muni drivers are getting details on a new contract today, and operators unions announce that

cool us down. in san francisco we are at 74 in oakland and 75 in can lows and mid-80's for the south bay and 63 at half moon bay. because of the ridge of high pressure that is off to the coast, in fact, that will bear down and for the most part, all across california, we will experience very high temperatures. look at this, we have 111-degree temperatures, 112 now in palm springs and 79 in los angeles, and 102 in yosemite. at home expect the temperatures to soar especially in the south bay and the inland areas. right now 93 is the high in san francisco and 90 in sunnyvale and along the peninsula and 90 degrees in redwood city and 59 at pack can and in san francisco, sunshine and 75 degrees. in the north bay, 104 degrees, and 1999 -- 99 in calistoga.
