the scene after speaking to a san help would was first to respond at the scene, with this s.u.v. that crashed into the home. he confirmed that they believe the car may have been stolen. it has been towed away. one suspect took off on foot and i had an opportunity to speak to a neighbor who her the crash and ail the commotion. she did not understand what was going until police did a yard to yard search and went through her back yesterday. this is video we shot. we found this: the garage door was completely smashed in, officers say when we got to the scene the car crashed into the garage. when it crashed, two occupants got out and ran away. one was taken into custody. they would not confirm the able or gender of the occupant of the s.u.v. right now i am waiting for the sergeant to come back over and fill in the blanks and the

as we look at live doppler 7 hd radar satellite we can expect to see the fog on the coast with clouds moving in but they will melt away. it is limiting our visibility at half moon bay at 15 miles there and nine miles in novato and unlimited elsewhere. starting off with clouds and cooler temperatures and as we led to noon, the temperatures ramp up especially inland by 4:00 84 and 62 degrees along coast. the forecast is straight ahead. c.h.p. re-opened all lanes northbound 880 at 98th following a serious crash but now the sig-alert is reissued. sometimes this is done for the

because we have learned from san jose police this is where it all started. an s.u.v. connected to a home invasion at this location on sun shadow lane and it crashed at the other location in east san jose, two male occupants, juveniles, were in the car and ones with apprehended at the seen and -- scene and took off and ran. when officers did a yard to yard search they could not fine the second suspect. i hope with the san jose police. >> ten minutes later it was scoff we had a home invasion and this vehicle was related to the whom invasion and these are suspected of that crime. >> he says that there may have been an injury to the driver of the s.u.v. but the second

flames swept up the hill to several multimillion dollar homes and the entire ibm research center was evacuated along with santa teresa county park. this fire at seven mines away stretched the capabilities of the fire crews. it broke out in a wooded area at the golf course. that is near center road. crews were late responding because they were so busy at the hillside fire in south san jose. between four and five acres. some golfers kept playing golf while crews helped the firefighters battle the flames. it took less than four hours to bring the fire under control. investigators now looking into what sparked the fire. >> happening today the city of oakland will have all of the fire stations manned and ready to go. two year ago the city rotated fire station closures as a way to save money that are called brownouts affecting two station
