dozens of homes are evacuated and less than a third of the fire is contained. amy hollyfield is at a fire station with more in napa. >> they are still be working hard on the fire having worked all night. cal will work around the clock for a couple of days. necessity do not want to turn their back on it. right now they are putting the fire at 2,700 acres burned. it is 30 percent contained. five structures they say have been destroyed. there is a mandatory evacuation in place for 200 homes. some people say they find it comforting to see all of the firefighters here. >> there are crews on the scene and more are coming. it feels good knowing they are attacking it. >> this fire is burning in pope

be the cause. the blast shows no homes or businesses were damaged. people living in san mateo after neighbors spotted a mountain lion killing a deer feet from homes. the police department sent an advisory to neighbors letting them know. it happened yesterday morning. the deer died and the mountain lion was gone by the time crews arrived. >> my dad shined the flashlight and the mountain lion was eating the baby deer and when you shined at it it jumped identify the creek and ran up the him. it gave me the creeks. i never had seen a cat that big. >> there is a creek in the area where deer gather and that is likely attracting the lion. the east coast is praising for high winds and rain caused by tropical storm arthur. thousands are without power in the midwest after a deadly storm has killed at least four people. here are the details.
