no structures were damaged. no surprise that a fire sparked today. the grass was dry because of high temperatures and little humidity. abc7 news meteorologist frances dinglasan has more with a look at live doppler 7hd. >> we had little cloud cover and temperatures came up today with live doppler 7hd. it's very clear in many areas, but we're starting to see high clouds moving in. highs today 1, 02, ukiah. 103, cloverdale and lakeport. cooler at the coast, half moon bay, 63. san francisco, 66. fairfield, 96. antioch, 99. so relative humidity, of course, is low in some of the inland areas and tomorrow we'll be even warmer. we have quite a few locations hitting 100, possibly even over so that means relative humidity will drop further. i'll have those numbers, your neighborhood temperatures in the accuweather seven-day forecast, and when you can expect cooling. a 27-year-old man has been arrested after authorities in

shasta county say exhaust from his truck started a brush fire. the state department of fire production says fedy alexander was tending to an illegal marijuana plot when his truck sparked the fire. the fire is 10% contained and destroyed six structures. he has billion charged with starting the fire and marijuana cultivation. both are felonies. a woman is recovering tonight after getting stabbed in san san francisco's mission district this morning. happened at a b.a.r.t. plaza at 24th and mission street before 11:00 a.m. emergency crews rushed to the woman to the hospital. she is expected to survive. police arrested a man at the scene but have not said if he is connected to the stabbing. some popular san francisco stores were closed again today after a water main break need their basements yesterday morning. disappoint shoppers could only window shop at some stores while employees continued mopping up.

a contractor hit an eight-inch water main around 10:00, spilling 100,000 gallons. firefighter says stores lost mostly office furniture and boxes. the crooked part of lombard street just re-opened after it was closed to all but local and taxi traffic this afternoon. today was the last day of an experiment to close the popular tourize attraction to nonresident cars from noon until 6:00 on weekend s. residents say traffic is a nightmare. now mta will decide whether to make the restrictions permanent. six california lawmakers will staff to central america tomorrow to meet with officials there about the increase in migrants to the u.s. border, particularly unaccompanied minors, senator alan cor bet and -- they'll discuss immigration, trade, and port security. the nine-day trip will give the

feat. reporter: there have only been a few people to even attempt this, and yesterday's marathon swim was only the second time someone has been able to successfully make from the farallon islands under the golden gate bridge. joseph locke made the swim 40 minutes faster then the first guy who successfully did it. this i video yesterday. he got in the water at midnight yesterday morning. he says this is the seventh time he has attempted this and he is not wearing a wet suit. part of the difficulty of she women is toughing out the cold water. he was only allowed a swim cap, googles, trunks and grease. he made it under the golden gate bridge and then even tapped the concrete base of the south tower to make it official. >> i got a pass to the golden gate bridge, which is -- people are saying there are bunch of

it took teamwork and clever engineering to rescue two baby raccoons that fell down a deep construction hole in santa cruz, construction worker notices the animals down a 35-foot hold they called wildfire emergency services. volunteers, construction crews and firefighters were able to grab the baby raccoons with a net and pull them to safety while the mother watched on. drones have a controversial image as they're sometimes used to spy on people or drop bombs. that's why a web site that specializes in drone pictures is trying to clean up their image. they are holding a contest for the best drone picture. here's the winning photo, taken while the drone soared next to an eagle above indonesia. there was also a reader's choice

sunshine, but temperatures in the 80s santa rosa, novato. 90s in fairfield and concord. and another shot for you from suit -- sutro looking down towards san francisco. mostly clear skies overnight. near 100 degrees inland tomorrow. the cooling trend starts on tuesday that is correct -- that is a relief inland, so we'll be mainly clear with fog and low clouds at the coast. that's about it. overnight lows, milder. so 55, san francisco, 60s in concord, fremont, san jose and antioch. only cooling down to 70 overnight. so that means temperatures are going to be even warmer tomorrow. we have this hot air mass, high pressure, clockwise rotation, drawing up the monsoonal moisture and that's why we're seeing the clouds. tomorrow we'll see more sun and high clouds. notice areas of green that could be some light rain and even some
