a security guard from inside chevron took the ambulance in. chevron has their own fire department inside. the company is able to have an incident and not tell us what is going on. we asked the company to give us information. there is no response. the chevron fire department needed some help because we saw fire trucks from richmond fire department going inside the plant. this started after 2:00 this morning. we are relying on what we hear on the police and fire scanner. chevron is not responding to our requests for information. the richmond fire department is referring us to chevron. we have heard there was an incident, a fire, need the chevron refinery. two people do have hazardous materials on them and they are trying to figure how to get it off. we do not see any smoke. we do not hear sirens. we do not see a lot of activity

or chaos but the ambulance was escorted in. when we get more information we will let you know. this is happening as the chevron company is trying to win over the city of richmond and the city council trying to get $1 billion modernization project approved bit city council. people in richmond have turned out to speak out against it saying they don't trust chevron given the fires that have happened in the past. they are worried about the environmental impact of a project. they scheduled to pitch this to the city council next week. now they may have to answer what is happening here this morning. we will keep you posted. we were keel calling chevron to get more information. >> while you were doing your report we got a response from chevron. they say it was a minor fire out

we get nickeled and dimed as far as rain goes, and moving through richmond and to the south of el sobrante and the northwest and headed to marin county and san rafael, possibly fairfax and muir beach is getting heavy drizzle. temperatures in most areas are warmer this morning because of extra humidity pumped up here by the monsoon. we will have temperatures hang out in the 60's for the better part of the commute with drizzle through 7:00 and 9:00 it dries out. we will see clears by noon in the mid-to-upper 60's from the coast to the bay and mid-70's inland and mid-60's at 4:00 at the coast and around the bay mid-70's and 80 inland so the temperatures are below average and like yesterday more sunshine headed through the afternoon and evening and comfortable this evening but a bit humid for us
